I purchased 2 skeins of the darker red to make “Melt the Ice” hats. I was very taken with how beautiful the shade of red was. Upon initial inspection it seemed incredibly soft, that ended up not being true once I started working with it. This yarn feels harsh and “plasticy”, one skein had 6, yes 6 factory knots. It split so badly while working with it, that in desperation I tried 3 different hook sizes since gauge was not an issue on my project. I have never left a negative review in the 20+ years of shopping on Amazon. I would urge all others to avoid this product and search for another. I did finish one hat but was too frustrated to use my second skein to complete another.

I just received these yarns yesterday but they seem to be of good quality. The colours are as vibrant as they appear online. Happy with my purchase.
