Looks, fits and functions perfectly on my Leica Q3. I don’t love the ergonomics personally but that’s more because of the camera shape and not because of this grip. Better than OEM because it’s available and the price is right.Quality is 100% on par with OEM.I hit mine with some chalk paint in the recessed area to highlight the text. Looks fantastic.

This is 2 thumbs up, even with all the Leica engraving & logo. As a bonus, it comes with a nice glass screen protector, but I can't use the free EVF screen protector. Sure beats the price for OEM which is more than double the price. It makes it so much easier and comfortable with the grip. It fits perfect for the Leica Q3.

Fantastic quality at a great price. Honestly believe this is the original Leica thumb grip, especially since it came in Leica packaging.

You always find a product on Amazon that appears to be built like the original at a better value. 50% of the time the product is just not what you expect and is a complete let down. I'm happy to tell you in this particular case that is not the result. This thumb grip is exactly like the original, frankly almost to the point it made me wonder a bit. It is a perfect fit and does exactly what you are looking for with the thumb grip, uh umm something that should have come with the camera to begin with. I highly recommend this, as in if you are looking to buy it do so right now.

If you want a thumb grip for the Q3 this is the one to buy. Indistinguishable from OEM - really. And a really nice glass screen protector to boot! Also has a plastic eye screen protector, but that messes with the proximity sensor and reflects the viewscreen - ended up throwing that one away.So why four stars? My thumb grip did not come in a box. it was stuck in a piece of foam inside a clear plastic bag. I can only assume mine is used. But it looks and works great, so I'm keeping it.

A friend of mine has the genuine thumb grip for the Q3, and so out of curiousity, we met up and decided to compare this product from Amazon to the original. I know there have been many reviews stating this is a very good copy, but I can confidently say, comparing this product and the genuine, that they are INDISTINGUISHABLE. It is shocking how good this is. We got to a point where we had to keep track of which one was which, because we could not tell them apart after staring and comparing at all the different angles. The ONLY thing we could tell was the product number that is underneath the hot shoe is stamped slightly different (font and offset). Everything else, including how it feels and functions is identical. Buy with high confidence!
