Running for several months now-no issues.

The setup was not smooth. The app used to setup the router froze twice, and the router failed to configure properly twice. In all I had to restart my phone a couple of times to exit and restart the app, and reset the router 3 times to restart the setup. Eventually everything worked, and once the router was working I found it's range comparable to the 20 year old router it was replacing. One bonus was an equally old range extender still works with the new router. I don't have broadband so I can't comment on it's speed handling that, however where my SmartThings hub would sometimes be slow to execute a command or go offline for a few minutes several times a week so far commands have been executed more quickly, and the hub has not lost it's connection yet.

I bought two if these to replace my TP-Link router -- since it there is a good possibility that TP-Link will be banned in the US. The D-Link M30 router and extender are working OK so far. The signal strength of the combined pair is adequate, but not as strong as my old TP-Link. The management software -- both the browser based and the Android app -- is a little bit clunky. The router doesn't have as many configuration settings as the TP-Link did.

I’ve been using this now for six months not a single issue works great highly recommend. I hooked it up with my spectrum account and having my own router, saved me $10 a month.

After 4 months of not giving me any trouble, all my routers decided to die. I strongly suspect either a bad firmware update (auto-updates were on - big mistake) or having turned QoS on a week ago, which adds more workload to the CPU, which can overheat (I doubt all routers would have failed this way). Anyways, very unreliable. I own other D-Link products which have been working for years without a hitch. Maybe they sourced the wrong hardware this time...

Quick and easy installation for use, especially as a wi-fi extender. The illustrated installation guide shows three methods to set up the router and they are all straightforward. Using the second or third methods allow you to use the router’s setup webpage, in case you don’t want to download an app. The webpage setup is simple and lets you configure the router to your needs, in our instance, as a wi-fi extender. Be sure to practice good cybersecurity by changing the built-in passwords!

Easy to setup, install, and easy to access. The distance the wifi signal covers is great.
