Tried it once, I get over heated for no reason multiple times a day. Like to the point where I'm in tears cause it feels like my brain is boiling. Tried this today and the belt is small (but I'm big, if you are average it's good). It's not like ice pack for your lunch cold but it's a gentle cold. It doesn't freeze solid which is also good so it can bend. The only downside is it lasts about half a day so if I brought the second one with me it wouldn't help in the afternoon. Gonna have to try something else as i need something I can wear in a sterile setting. If you need it for muscle pain or while RVing it would be great.

I like the features on these ice packs. The straps to secure them are good enough for a few different applications. The fuzzy velour side is good for direct application to skin, but does tend to mute the cooling effect a little. If you reverse it to the smooth plastic side, the cold is more intense, but you'd want a barrier to protect your skin. The package includes two sealing plastic bags to protect that velour side when you put these in the freezer. That was a good addition.
