Sharp and perfect fit. These blades are amazing. Slices and dices and gets mowing down to a breeze. Easy to install, perfect fit and works great.

This blade is used on a 42" lawn tractor requiring two blades. It has a relative new center mount called an "S" shape. It is designed for mulching and does an excellent job. I place my cuttings in a large trash can suitable for automatic pick up equipment. The container holds an estimated 30-40% more grass clipping then with previous OEM blades. The set of blades is more expensive but worth the extra cost. For safety, when installing any blade, disable the mower so it will not start, usually by removing either the spark plug wire or removing the battery ground cable .

New blades definitely solved my problem. Ordered these as a spare set and made a huge difference. Would order again.

Installed without issue on my one year old cub Cadet 42 inch lawn tractor. Fit perfect. I have very thick fescue grass. I have used the blades five times. So far I have been very pleased. I am hopeful the great performance will continue. My opinion right now is that I would definitely purchase another set of these blades.

I installed this Xtreme Mulching Blade Set on my Cub Cadet XT1-LT42, and the improvement was immediate. These blades are beefier than stock and have an aggressive cutting edge that finely shreds grass and leaves. Even with thick spring growth, I got a clean, even cut — and the clippings practically vanished into the lawn. The blades mulch so effectively that there’s almost nothing left to collect — it saves time, effort, and the hassle of emptying bags every few passes. Tip: If you’re mowing weekly or biweekly, these blades easily keep up. For neglected lawns, they still power through without clumping. These should’ve been standard from the start. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

These worked great on my Cub Cadet 42” ZT1 Ultima. For those that complain about them not being razor sharp, mower blades aren’t supposed to be. You want butter knife sharp, like these were. Using these really helped cut down on the amount of visible grass clippings!

Note: This is the OEM, Cub Cadet part. It is the correct fit (on models listed) and an exact replacement. This met my needs exactly.
