Arcade1Up Time Crisis Deluxe Arcade

The price point is way too steep for this cab. That has nothing to do with Amazon, it’s the same price everywhere, but this is where I got it so this is where it’ll be reviewed. Like others say, for what you get the price point is too high, especially for a 17” lcd. Arcade1up could have done much better for the price but it’s a classic and worth it to add to your home arcade. Kids absolutely love it and I’ve experienced no issues with it. Be patient with the aiming, it’s got the same technology as a mouse does on a computer screen, but unless you want to spend thousands on the authentic thing, this definitely works.

This is one of the pricier cabinets available (that doesn't use original hardware) but it looks so good. A great selection of games, too! The guns have a really fun and satisfying kick that you can also disable (it does get a little noisy at times). Video and sound quality are both what I'd expect. The biggest issue is that you have to be standing a bit back from the screen for the guns to be particularly accurate, which means you can't have the pedal directly under the cabinet like in the original, but they seem to have anticipated this and set up the pedal to be movable. All-in-all, I'm really happy with this.

Packaged very well, which makes it take about as much time unpackaging, as it does to assemble it. Instructions were clear, and easy to read. At first, everything seemed to be working perfectly, until i had to use the pop up keyboard to type in my wifi password. The keyboard never popped up no matter what I tried. Luckily, Arcade 1up's customer service was a huge help, and sent me a new Main PCBA at no cost. New unit worked flawlessly and everything is working as it should. I only wish it was 2 player. 2 guns and only 1 player for (only) Time Crisis is kind of a let down.

Fun nostalgic game. Brings back memories of arcades when I was young. Assembly is a lengthy process and takes several hours for one person.

Came very very quick and was in excellent shape. Took me a couple hrs to assemble. Very Happy with it.

If you are looking for something along the lines of Time Crisis 3 which is a 2 player game, this is NOT it. I emailed 1up before purchase and asked them if this Time Crisis was two player. They NEVER responded ever. Worst customer service on earth short of maybe Fanatec. I assumed because there were TWO guns it should be a TWO player console for Time Crisis, the title game. Well it most definitely is NOT. The other obscure games it comes with are two player, but NOT the Title game. Total waste of money to a company that does not care about it's customers or producing something logical. If you do not have power tools your arm will die before you ever even get close to assembling this cabinet. No idea why any company would build something that nobody wants. Disappointing in every definition. Spend your money elsewhere.

I grew up with legos and that had prepared me for assembling this cabinet! the instructions were not the best but thankfully youtube. I got it together with little issue and have been enjoying the snot out of time crisis!

Our family is a fan of arcade game and this was a great addition to our collection. Highly recommend

Cabinet looks great, installation was easier than expected, and I am no handyman. Screen is a tad too small, gun will only work about 1 ft away. If not, the corners won't work. Gun technology not very accurate for point blank. For Time Crisis, works well. Overall, still satisfied.

Why would you include the single player only Time Crisis 1? I should have done my research better before purchase. As the only MP games are Point Blank (bleh) and Steel Gunner 1&2 (lose their appeal after a couple playthroughs). Upgraded my review to 2 stars as the cabinet decoration does look nice. Also the distance you need to sit/stand from the cabinet is never quite optimal like it was in the arcades.
