Pentel Graphgear 1000 Gold, Limited Edition Mechanical Pencil (PG1015LG), Black

Beautiful product. I am personally not a fan of the provided lead; however, the pencil is an over all master piece. I tend push down on the pencil very hard when I write; which tends to break the lead. However this pencil I’m does a great job as compensating for that.

I've used the regular Graphgear 1000 pencils for years. They work really well and are easy to write with. I decided to treat myself with the Gold Limited Edition. It looks marvelous! It doesn't work any differently than the standard model, but I enjoy using it more because it stands out. The gold plating is of high quality and even after using it every day for over a month it still looks brand new.

A nice pencil for yourself, or as a gift

1st: Love the looks, the feel, the quality, and the limited-ness (not a word but makes sense to me). As described.Stars Lost for reason:I asked if came with case as shown in reviews by other buyers. Several replies Was told came with dedicated black pental box with string to hold pencil in place. Very disappointed to find that no case was included. This is very expensive item to not have a dedicated case to store so stays clean avoid scratches. Couldve bout the the regular version for $10 which comes with a case. Doesnt feel like a collector would want. Debate to return :(

Best pencil around but no case. For $50 I expect a case. It doesn’t feel like I spent $50 on it without one. It is beautiful though. I recommend it for people that like shiny things ;)

Absolutely love this pencil. As a software architect I’m constantly revising and this pencil makes it a dream.

Nice pencil but came with only pencil and placed in suspicious bag not surprised although I mean this is Amazon and I think they just package things for convenience rather than being neat about it but anyways it is nice and stylish if it didn't look and feel so nice I would probably consider returning it given how it didn't come with everything but I did get one of the last ones so that could be why but in general this wasn't a bad purchase just not the best.
