This remote paired with my Samsung Frame TV in seconds and works perfectly. The buttons are responsive, the design feels identical to the original, and the solar charging feature is a great bonus. I bought this remote because it was the exact one it came with. I was right! At first it was not working properly because it would skip letters or options. After some research I learned you have to pair the remote to your tv so it can work properly. That is not explained. To PAIR it, the TV must be on, once it’s one press the return button at the same time press the play/pause button, for at least 5 seconds or until the device is found and paring begins. First you’ll see it will search for a device and then pair. You know when it’s completed it’s pairing when you see the battery signal pop up on your screen. Hope this helps others who are having the same issue.

Working fine when I bought it; no issues. It setup easily and was compatible with my Samsung 6-series TV. Four months later One day it started behaving strangely - it would repeat the last button pressed infinitely. Not only would my TV confirm this, but the light at the tip of the remote too: it would light up synchronously. I let it rest for a day. The next day it seemed to have died, so I tried charging via the solar panel for a whole day under a light inside my house - no charge. So I tried charging via cable - no charge. Now, it just stopped working all together. For a $40 remote, not worth it - I’m very disappointed.

Excellent remote, works perfectly with my Samsung Frame TV. Connects quickly via Bluetooth, the voice control is very accurate, and the best part is it doesn’t need batteries thanks to the solar charging. Lightweight, practical, and very high quality.

Bought this as a replacement for our original controller snd works great.

I recently ordered what was advertised as a Samsung solar remote, but what I received was far from the genuine product. It's not a solar remote at all; in fact, it resembles a cheap Rs 100-200 knockoff. Disappointed, I requested a replacement, only to receive the exact same fake remote again. This is clearly a scam, so beware and DON'T BUY IT.

So the place that supplies the remote called me to say they have none left in stock and offered me a newer model. When I got the remote, as soon as I paired it with my TV, it works like a dream and that's coming from someone that has been struggling to find a decent replacement remote for a year, so happy with my purchase.
