DroiX NH8 Hub

Doesn't work, randomly disconnects, the lid is flimsy and barely holds on. Will be returning.

Decided to purchase this DroiX NH8 because: another m.2 nvme hub didn't live up to its expectations, really slow read and write speeds, quick to overheat and constantly disconnecting. about the DroiX NH8: my use case for this hub is it's being connected to the Steam Deck. The hub is easy to set up, you drop 1 NVMe drive in 2280 or 2260 (2230/2242 might work but you can't secure it inside its little compartment), it is super fast using ONLY the NVMe drive to read/write. i haven't tested it in combination with the other ports on this hub, but i soon will, if something is up i will try to edit this review accordingly. so far, this hub exceeds my expectations. spoiler: i did add a thermal pad under the NVMe drive and a 1mm pad on top with a 1mm thick metal plate to absorb the heat. works flawlessly!
