Bearded Dragon,Lizard,Works with Various Lamp,Reptile Daylight Bulb

We had just gotten our turtle when we purchased these lights, and were still learning what we were doing. I won’t say these lights are terrible; they may have their use for some, they just weren’t what we needed. The uv light didn’t seem to be bright enough to provide the needed amount, and the heat bulb didn’t put a dent in the terrarium’s temperature. We quickly upgraded to another brands products. I thought these were a great price, since it came with both, but these just didn’t perform well enough to suit us.

What I really like about these bulbs is how compact they are. They are quite small but are still the same universal socket size as any other bulbs and can fit into any fixture, so long as the fixture can withstand the bulb wattage. Despite the small size, they emit pretty strong heat fairly quickly and are excellent for reptiles, hermit crabs, insects, and other animals that require some sort of heat source. I would, however, consider obtaining an additional source of UVB/UVA light for animals who require either, especially if the enclosure is big.

These little bulbs heat up quickly and work perfectly. I use these lower watt heat bulbs for my feeder cricket tank.
