Works well with a power pack
I have two larger versions for my sitting room and bedroom. This is used with a power pack for when I'm sitting somewhere else. Works well for that.

Gravity switch doesn’t work
The product looks good, is lightweight and easy to gift wrap, hence one star. The problem is it doesn’t work. The gravity switch doesn’t stay engaged when you place a mug on the item and so the heating surface doesn’t heat up.

I brought this for my dad as he always leaves his tea to go coldIt keeps it hot and works fine great value for money

Some cups or mugs don’t get the contents hot because of the way they contact the heating element

Does not do what it says
I thought I would give this a go, try and keep my brew warm whilst working from home - the plate gets warm and works once weight is on it but it doesn’t keep my brew warm at all, I have had to resort to a flask! Waste of money just sorry I missed the return window

Convenient but limited
Lightweight solution for keeping drinks warm. Its weight-activated design is clever, but it struggles to maintain heat, especially on colder days. A handy gadget for occasional use, but not ideal for all-day warmth or outdoor use in chilly conditions.
