It is fantastic for use with fondant, icing, dough, pastry and sugarpaste as it has a non-stick, smooth surface for beautiful even dough that doesn't get stuck!
GUIDE RINGS AND RULER- The mat is printed with pastry guide rings so you can get the perfect shape you need without cracking out the tape measure. If you need even dough strips, it even has measurements printed in inches and cm which is perfect for cutting out even lattice strips or icing laces! Guide rings diameter measures from 6" - 14" and 12.5cm - 35.6cm / Length size markings measure from 1" - 18" and 1cm - 43cm / Width size markings measure from 1" - 15" and 1cm to 35cm
BENEFITS OF SILICONE- Space is always an issue in the kitchen when you love to bake which is why this mat is perfect as it can be rolled up for storage. Due to the silicone material, it doesn't hold or absorb odours or tastes which makes it brilliant for using with both savoury and sweet flavours and dishes. To make it even better, it has been heat tested and is suitable for use between -40 degrees C to 240 degrees C which makes it dishwasher, freezer, fridge and oven safe.
EASY CLEAN- We recommend using a light dusting of flour before rolling out your dough but do not fear! A wipe over with a damp cloth will leave this mat as good as new. Plus, the slightly sticky gel nature means the mat will hold its place on almost any work surface without slipping and sliding so there is minimal mess to clean up after!
