Y.S. Organics Fresh Bee Pollen Whole Granules, 8 Ounce

I have been taking this brand every day for a month. I started with a few granules and worked up to 2 heaping teaspoons twice a day. I try to take it first thing in the morning and about a half hour before supper every night. It tastes very sweet. It is very easy to take all by itself. I just let it sit in my mouth and "melt", then swallow it. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my health and resistance to bugs. A bug just went through all the members of my house last week, and I just had a scratchy throat for a few days. Normally I get a runny nose and cough that lasts and lasts. This same bug gave my 1 y/o niece pneumonia, if that tells you anything. I gave the pollen to my kids a few times, and they love the taste and ask for more! I am going to start giving it to them every day through the winter, and hopefully beyond. I am sooooooo glad I discovered this!

I've used YS Eco Bee Farm products, mostly their Bee Pollen, many times over the past years, but never on a regular basis. The bee pollen in this bottle seems to be fresh, as the granules are very soft. However, these are the most sour tasting granules I've ever tasted. I don't know enough about the collection of the pollen to understand why it is so sour tasting. It's almost to the point where I don't want to eat it but I'm "manning up" and continuing to take it. I was a bit concerned at first that it may be spoiled and would make me sick but I've been taking it for a few days now and have had no ill effects from it. I didn't rate it lower because I know pollen can vary a lot depending on the season, flowers that the bees collect the pollen from, etc.

I bought this for years & enjoyed it's mild & sweet taste as a treat to munch on as I drink coffee. Tried several other cheaper brands that all tasted like chemicals. Starting with an order I placed late in the spring 2022 & just tasted recently, the product now tastes like chemicals to me. Don't know what changed at the farms other than they were significantly impacted by the covid lockdown & supply chain & employees for hire like every other organization. Granted pollen is subject to change throughout the season as bees harvest from different plants. Did they harvest from bitter flowers? No idea. The product likely is still very healthy & very usable to cook various foods or make smoothies where the pollen taste is hidden by other flavors.

These bee pollen granules are soft with a citrusy flavor that's bright and refreshing. They also melt easily in yogurt or the mouth. Nothing like the hard pellets I've had elsewhere.

Very sour, I bought local bee pollen that was very sweet, pollinated and soft. Decided to try something from Amazon, this is suppose to be fresh and soft. It was soft but very sour. Nothing like I’ve previously bought in local grocery stores of local bee keepers
