Clinique Cheek Pop Blush | Long Lasting, Buildable + Vibrant, Yet Natural-Looking Color

For me absolutely yes. The consistency is silky and light weight. It is perfect for my mature skin as it glides on smoothly with just a hint of color, but one can build the color to the desired intensity without looking clownish. The product blends extremely well and has a beautiful subtle shine and luminosity. I am amazed how natural it looks on my skin. No high shine or over the top shimmer here. The product lasts for several hour without looking dry and does not settle into wrinkles. The container is small which is what I prefer for easy packing and travel. This is an expensive product but a little amount goes a long way. Well worth the money to me.

The color is vibrant for a powder. Looks natural and stays on for hours.

I ordered the Pansy Pop shade. This is perfect for those with pale skin. For reference, I’m very pale with cool pink undertones. In the photo, the blush looks a bit dark but in person it’s brighter and more natural looking. I have this blush in another color too (cola pop) and I love the formula for this blush line because it will initially go on quite sheer but is easy to build up the color as you see fit. The pansy pop, when on your cheeks, has a very natural looking spring flush color. A bit ice princess looking. Cola pop gives off more Pre-Raphaelite woman vibes, it’s a medium toned berry that can blend out into quite a natural summery flush. I think if I were to put on pansy pop, and lightly dab cola pop in the center, it would probably be a nice wintery gradient blush!

I was distressed when Clinique stopped marketing their peachy blush in a stick form. This is a close match. My only problem is that this is a solid disc in a small compact an not as easy to apply as the stick in a metal tube.

Like my title says, I rarely shop Clinque. I also have a lot of different blushes because it's my favorite make-up item—I have Patrick Ta, Rhode, three different Charlotte ones, Armani; however, these blushes are something I routinely go back to and LOVE. I have the cola pop and the pansy pop, and both are high-pigment without looking clownish. They have a nice powder but creme feel to them—I actually don't know how I would define it—I guess it's more creme, but not in a way that feels heavy. The lightness of the formula is nice. You don't need a lot of it to get a nice glow, but it can be layered. Plus, I just think the colors are fantastic. The pansy pop is difficult to replicate and is perfect for summer and the cola pop looks so good with the black honey lip gloss.

This shade is the perfect color for anyone who wants brighten their face.

I’m a cool to cool neutral and a light summer complexion. I tried the pink pop but it was too warm for me. Not bad but just looked off on me. I found some reviews on the different blush shades and found that the only one here that is cooler is the Pansy Pop so I purchased it. It melts into my skin tone very well meaning the shade flatters my natural coloring. I’m very happy with this blush plus it has a clear case so I can see the color and beautiful flower easily. Pansy Pop pairs well with the Burt’s Bees Sweet Violet Lip tint balm as the lip tint is just slightly darker. It also looks good with the Burt’s Bees Pink Blossom Lip tint Balm. Chantecaille Gossamer looks okay with it too. That pink is more nude neutral and goes with a lot. Also my photo makes it look a bit darker. The online selling image is exact though. Hope this helps you other cooler toned individuals out there!
