Works great, good manufacturing.
This is a functional and accurate product - detail was observed. I do not have an infrared camera or nvgs to test the infrared function. I have this mounted to my arc rail, and it mounted easily. Several complete optional mounts are provided. The only thing needed is a small allen wrench (we all have plenty) to remove the molle clip if a different provided mount is wanted. The AA battery installed easily; the cr123a did not initially. I simply trimmed very little from the flange on the battery cover with a pocket knife, which allowed the cover to fully close with a cr123a. I bought several and they all work as advertised.

No wrench, cant use until you find one that fits.
Missing the most important part!! Useless without the small Allen wrench needed to switch out the panels. There is one screw and no wrench to remove or tighten it. Without changing the panels, this item is useless. Send the little Allen wrench for it and I'll change this review. Ridiculous

Broke on its second use
It just no longer lights up, no matter the configuration. The light is really weak, but it works as an admin light for maps

Versatile
Kind of hard to change the colors but the white red and IR are fine. The intensity is not a lot it's just enough to get you to read right in front of you or mess with a setting on your near proximity. The velcro is nice you have to reattach a clip to fit into the velcro patch, and there's a long screw thay bolts onto the hinge of the battery compartment that retains the flashlight from sliding off the mount once velcroed

Not bad for the money, except for the button
Compared to a legit streamlight sidewinder stalk which this is an obvious clone of, it's not all around bad. The only real complaints are the hard and mushy button press and failed waterproofing. If your use case is airsoft and not GI Joe stuff, this is just fine. Pros relative to the streamlight: ~ Half the price (obviously) Matte diffuser lens (streamlight's is reflective) Neutral: Feels a little lighter than a streamlight Screw for the mount is looser out of the box, loctite fixes this easily. Have to mount the velcro to the plastic mount yourself, easily handled Relative Cons: Hard and mushy button press. Fine enough for on/off and adjusting brightness, but if you're changing colors those 5 rapid presses are a real pain in the hand, let alone mounted to a helmet. If that's something you plan on doing regularly, look elsewhere. Battery cap has a rubber gasket, but isn't waterproof. Fails IP run it under the sink rating, probably a 2/9 in a legit IP test. Still works after that, but probably won't forever if repeated constantly. If you're handy, replace the O ring with something that exerts pressure on the cap like the streamlight does and it'll be fine. The stalk is longer and not as stiff, so if you're moving around, it's more likely to shake out of position The selector knob has a weaker spring than the streamlight Cheaper plastic, expect less durability if you keep dropping it Untested: IR functionality. Don't have nods.

Go for the real thing
Visually, this was a great streamlite clone. However, the quality is no where close. The control knob broke off in the first 10 minutes of testing it out. The led is not as bright as the real thing ever. If you need one of these, go for the real thing. It's worth it.
