Performance and reliability
Exceptional Performance and Reliability! After upgrading to the Reyee AX6000 WiFi 6 Router, I’ve experienced a remarkable improvement in my home network’s performance. The router’s dual-band capabilities, offering speeds up to 1,148 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 4,804 Mbps on the 5GHz band, ensure seamless connectivity for all my devices . The dedicated gaming port is a standout feature, automatically prioritizing wired gaming devices for a fast and stable connection without the need for complex configurations . The setup was straightforward, and the user-friendly interface made it easy to customize settings to my preferences. With multiple devices connected simultaneously, including smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles, the network remains stable and fast. The router’s robust design and eight adjustable antennas provide excellent coverage throughout my home. Overall, the Reyee AX6000 WiFi 6 Router has exceeded my expectations, delivering high-speed, reliable internet connectivity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their home network experience.

Router is legit
I haven’t messed with any manual prioritization because I didn’t need to. Originally bought this because it was cheaper and I could configure it the way I wanted. It has a feature that automatically limits bandwidth to other devices when gaming. I use the gaming port and it legit works. I’ve tried others like ASUS and it never worked. Call of duty is almost lag free and I get a match 17-30 ping 9/10 times. Most important aspect is the upload speed when playing fps and I get almost 900 mb upload on it (wired gaming port). Most “gaming” routers will get you 1gb download but upload is terrible. I had put off this purchase because I’m not too familiar with Reyee but the wireless gets me 600-700 mb on AC (I don’t have any AX devices yet). Media and streaming were 4K quality on WiFi, and work pc didn’t lag. Great buy Cons: Worth noting that the claimed console booster is extra to use. There’s something about a paid subscription for software when you install it but they never ask for any payment information so I assume that’s the console booster. You cannot prioritize a device on Ethernet so you have to trust that the boost gaming mode is doing its job.

Updated Review, issue was mine! Good speed and range!
Bought the Reyee WiFi 6 Router AX3200 Wireless Router to replace an older mesh network that was not really giving me the connection or speed I needed for a combination of several streaming devices and gaming computers. Installation was pretty straightforward and I quickly had this configured with seperate private, guest, and smart device WIFI SSIDs. At first, all was great, speeds were very good - including up to 600bps on an ax device on the opposite side of our 2800sf home. Unfortunately, once i added all of the smart devices in our home (about 40) to the Reyee, things were not so good. speeds looked good but there were periodic large gaps in the connectivity. Running a constant ping to another device on the network would show super low 2ms latency in general, but then would periodically slow down to 1-4 seconds, often culminating in full timeouts. Trying to use audio and video conferencing through the Reyee in this configuration was nearly impossible which becomes a problem when trying to use for work. I eventually had to put all of my IOT devices on a different wireless router simply to let this router work for about 6 devices. Update: I continued to get dropouts even after removing everything from this router but my work computer. Returned to amazon. If you dont conference call this may work for you, but i cannot recommend Update 2: After trying another brand router and continuing to have the same dropout issues, I was able to narrow the issue down to one computer on our network, and that was an M1 Macbook pro - which turns out to have a known issue with periodic network dropouts in the version of the Mac OS that was on my computer. After updating that computer, the network dropouts ceased! However, the new, non Reyee router was not meeting the speeds and range I had on the Reyee. After working with the phenomenal Reyee support staff, I am now happily back to using a Reyee RG-5E as my home's sole router, getting great speeds at all corners of my home. Will happily recommend this router to anyone!

Better then Linksys
I've used Linksys and Netgear Routers in the past, the router this unit replaced is a Linksys WRT1900ACS, it's still a perfectly functional router and more then fast enough to support my 100mbps down internet connection but it simply lacked the Range I needed now that i'm expanding my smart home IoT devices, my Router is on a high shelf in the basement in the center of the house (roughly) as there are several things that needed to be hardwired to the router down there. I have one smart outlet on a fence post that just barely got like 2-4mbps down speeds on my phone at it's location on the old Linksys router, with this router my phone now gets 15-20mbps down speeds at that same location, I tested my phone using a Wifi Analyzer app with both routers running at a point near the fence post and the Linksys was roughly around -73dbm and this router was around -63dbm, so this definitely wins the range game compared to the Linksys, but it still wasn't enough range for my grand plan of IoT devices so I took advantage of another feature of this Router, it's support of Mesh Wifi, so I bought the Reyee RG-R6 2-pack to go along with it, talk about easy to setup, I simply plugged the 2 of them into power, went to this router and pressed the button on top, within minutes both of the RG-R6's where paired and then I moved them to their final locations at the far opposite corners of the main level of the house, I now have full internet speed EVERYWHERE inside the house, all over the front yard out and into the street(it's about 50-55 feet from the RG-R6 that is closest to the street) and i'll have to see how far away I can get in the backyard when it's not the middle of the night. Some things I would mention in hopes it helps others, Leviton Smart Switches and Outlets are easy to reconfigure the wifi to switch onto this, but my Arlo Video Doorbell had to be Deleted and re-installed in the Arlo app, it just refused to find the doorbell when I did the Change Wifi in the app, wasted like half an hour on that, so save your time, delete the doorbell and add it as a new device. There are also a few settings you'll want to set in the web interface under the Wifi section, this can be set to broadcast 2.4 and 5Ghz SSID's or you can toggle it to Dual Band Single SSID, doing this toggle to Single SSID means no more having to switch between your 2.4 and 5Ghz SSID's as you get too far away from the router and the 5Ghz drops out, when the 5Ghz drops you'll seamlessly switch to 2.4Ghz, you'll also wanna toggle on the "Band Steering", this lets the router choose what devices to push to 5Ghz and which to keep on 2.4Ghz (which are mainly old devices and IoT devices) based on the capabilities of the device. Now the only outstanding question is how reliable will this be, only time will tell. Oh and one last thing, my Wifi Calling works with this router, it didn't work with the Linksys I mentioned at the beginning of this review. So thats another plus. EDIT: 7 months into ownership and this thing is still going strong, haven't had to reset it or pull the power like you do on most routers and the speed, still kicking but, can transfer video files over wifi at 60-85 MEGABYTES (not Bits) a second, this is the same or faster then a USB 3.0 external drive plugged directly into the computer.

Died after 2 months.
Update: After 2 months, it stopped providing Wifi. Tried Factory Reset and the app cannot connect to the router even though it is showing up in the wifi list. It did seem to have some performance issues these past couple of weeks with slower than usual speed. I thought that was normal network variability. I guess I was wrong. I will reach out to Reyee to see what they will do here. Bottom Line: If you have speedy internet and you're looking for a Wifi 6 router or just a better router that provides more coverage then buy this now! Originally bought the new Amazon Eero Pro 6E 3-pack to replace an original Google Wifi 3 pack system. I'm subscribed to AT&T 1GB service and see these speeds at my home (2600 sq. ft. flat ranch) I read reviews about this router and decided to give it a try as most things don't take advantage of 6E anyway (why overspend?). Unpacked the router, took a screenshot of the underside info for later reference and the QR code pointed me to the app right away. The app was enough for me to fully set this thing up and everything just worked. I've read that the online interface offers more customization but I don't need that. One note is that this router did not allow me to setup my network password with as many digits as the Google system and so had to reconnect all my devices with my updated password (probably a good thing to periodically change anyway). After the easy hookup, my wifi speeds on the opposite of my home went from 100 MB to over 400MB on my phone. I did notice that the bedroom apple TV (on far side of the home in the same spot as phone measurement) only managed same speeds of around 70-100MB, not sure why... Overall, I'm very pleased. I don't need 2 additional google units plugged in around my home and get a stronger, faster signal distributed around my home. (For future reference, picked this up on 2022 Prime Day for $109, it is currently being offered for $119 with a clickable coupon)

Impressive Performance and Reliability: A Stellar Review for Reyee Router
I recently acquired the Reyee Router, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This review aims to highlight the outstanding features and the overall positive experience I've had with this remarkable device. First and foremost, the performance of the Reyee Router is exceptional. It effortlessly handles multiple connected devices without any noticeable lag or drop in internet speeds. The router consistently delivers a stable and robust connection. The consistent and reliable performance has made my online activities a seamless and enjoyable experience. The range and coverage provided by the Reyee Router are equally impressive. I live in a multi-story house, and this router effortlessly blankets every corner with a strong and consistent Wi-Fi signal. No matter where I am in the house, I experience excellent connectivity without any dead zones. This has been a significant improvement compared to my previous router, where I would often encounter weak signals in certain areas. Setting up the Reyee Router was a breeze. The intuitive user interface and clear instructions made the installation process smooth and hassle-free. Within minutes, I had the router up and running, ensuring a seamless transition from my previous network. Another notable feature of the Reyee Router is its robust security measures. It provides advanced encryption protocols and customizable security settings, ensuring that my network and connected devices remain protected from potential threats. This aspect of the router gives me peace of mind, knowing that my online activities and personal information are safeguarded. In conclusion, the Reyee Router has proved to be a top-notch networking solution. Its outstanding performance, wide coverage, easy setup process, sleek design, enhanced security features, and excellent customer support make it a truly standout choice. If you're in the market for a reliable and high-performing router, I highly recommend considering the Reyee Router. It has undoubtedly elevated my online experience and surpassed my expectations.

Fantastic
This thing works fantastic. I was having connection issues previously and it turns out the previous router did not support the number of devices I had connected. Since setting up this router all of our connection issues have disappeared. It works fantastic and was pretty easy to set up. ****IMPORTANT NOTE**** Asurion is a scam. In my experience, If you ever have to file a claim they will make the process as difficult as possible. When you sign in to the app to file a claim you have to sign in three separate times. The form they want you to fill out does not self-populate your name, address, phone # etc. You’ll then need to enter various other information, and they want a pic of both the front and back of your driver’s license (remember, you logged in with a UN and PW). Once you upload all of this, they tell you it will take 24 business hours to review. First, they reject the form stating you must print and sign the form even though it says you can sign electronically. If you call their number, they will place your call on hold for a while and initially an automated message will attempt to tie up your call having you answer various questions. Eventually someone in a foreign country will answer your call. The initial person will try to sell you additional services and after you say no a couple times, they will transfer you to someone else. You guessed it, you will have to be on hold again. You will get transferred and placed on hold several more times and they will find a way to deny your claim. What is especially frustrating is you have followed all their directions along the way. They can (and will) raise service fees without any notice. In the end, you will not save any money and have spent far too much time submitting forms and talking to people that lie and misdirect you every step of the way. The company’s employees are dishonest and have no problem lying to you. You can give it a try if you want but you have been warned. Instead of paying their monthly fee dump the money in a savings account. Odds are you’ll be able to buy a new product that’s updated, and you will receive it in a couple of days instead of weeks later.

A nice router with features you don't always find on more expensive units. Very stable as well.
This router has been very stable since I have owned it. Some even very expensive routers I've dealt with have had connection release issues that causes connections to overload and the router to reboot or become unresponsive. This router does not have any of those issues. It has a lot of nice features you don't always find on routers at this price point too, like OpenVPN support. The one thing it is missing is 6 Ghz but I know that when I bought it. It covers a lot of area and I get good signal all over my home even without a mesh or booster. If you need a cheap router with good features that even has the ability to handle gaming and other high traffic. This is a great choice. The only negative is it would be nice if Custom Firmware was better supported and easier to install. I won't knock it for that though as that is not a feature most routers have.
