Absolutely wonderful book, I've run out of the amount of times my son and I have read it.It's really informative without going overboard on details, the pictures help explain things further and even I've managed to retain information that I never knew previously.

Good book for a child who has developed an interest in the Titanic.

I read this book to 6 - 12 year olds and we all were all captivated by the story. The book tells every detail of the ship in a fascinating way, but the overarching theme is that the story of the Titanic is made up of thousands of stories from individual people.I had never been particularly interested in the Titanic before, but like so many other people, I now have an emotional link to it.
