These cards seem so simple, and yet they have been a great comfort to me as I move through my own uneven grieving process. I look forward to using them with people in my community, to help gently start conversation around topics that we have been conditioned to avoid - so grateful to the artist/healer who created them. The Karuna Cards are perfect. They validate my thoughts and feelings and give me prompts to explore them further and in creative ways. You can do a random card pull or go through them as a stack. They have helped me sort through some stuff and create some art work.

I have bought 4 packs of these. They worked so well with a traumatic transition for my teenage daughter, that I have purchased them for friends and foster children who have experienced difficult losses. These are awesome writing/conversational/reflection prompts.

My husband and I have struggled with finding the right gift for friends and relatives experiencing the loss of a loved one. Not knowing what to say or do, or how we can feel helpful to those dearest to us is something we have struggled with. These cards are an excellent aid to processing grief. They can be used therapeutically in session with clients or clients can have their own packs and take one card daily to find creative ways to express their grief.
