The box is very well made. The wooden cylinder beautiful. The key broke on the first try, but that’s ok.

I wanted a decent, long lasting, none plastic storage container for my steak knives. This was the perfect fit. The lock was a bonus, it works very smoothly. The product is well made and the hinges are discrete. The lid fits perfectly, no wobbling or uneven edges. It was delivered without issue, no damaged corners or scuffing. The finish is good. I don’t review much but wanted to let buyers know that this is a great price for a quality product. Shipped quickly.

From the beautiful look of the wood, to the perfect mitered corners, and the way the hardware is inlaid into the wood rather than just attached to it, this is a well crafted box. Perfect for keeping mementos and keepsakes. The locking mechanism works to keep those curious, nosey, busybodies from seeing your intimate and personal treasures. Extremely pleased with this beautiful box and highly recommend the L&S company and their products.

The acacia wood is beautiful and the craftsmanship is good, but not perfect. The hinged lid does not sit squarely on the box and mine had a couple of small, barely noticeable chips in it. Even with those slight flaws, it's a very pretty box and serves my needs well. A couple of applications of lemon oil and beeswax brought out dramatic grain in the wood.

When I unwrapped it from the plastic, the fumes from the stain made me sick. There were two stray spots of stain that looked awful and the lock was not straight. I felt I could have made a better one myself, but I am fairly artistic. I did like the "free" item, but felt an obligation to return it. Way too expensive for what was sent to me.

First impressions are "good",(I purchased 3) then you start to notice you can see light through the boards on the bottom, not all areas are sealed, I would have labeled this product "rustic" then you would have a better understanding of what you have purchased.

Mine arrived very nicely packaged. I think quality is more than I expected. The inner dimensions are the ones that matter. My box measures 9.75 long x 4 deep x 7.5 inches wide. I mean you can easily fit a couple of card decks, bunch of smudge sticks, lots of crystals, some silk, smudge bowl, and still have room left over ... maybe more card decks. I like it.

So disappointed. This was my 2nd box. The 1st one had damage and deep scrapes. This was the replacement. The tray would not fit, it was warped and too wide to fit. Numerous scrapes inside as well. The lock would not function at all. Being as this was for a gift, I did not have time to do yet another exchange. Upon inspecting, I found that the lock was installed backwards and off center. I needed this box, so, I took my sander and sanded the sides of the tray and stained it. It fits nicely now. The lock, I removed and reinstalled correctly. Being off center was an issue as well. I ended up taking my mini dremel and grinding the latch insert. Not perfect, but at least it works now with a little jiggling. There seems to be no Quality Control. Had I not needed this I would have returned this too and paid more for a quality box. I'm glad I'm a pretty handy person and made it work, but no, I would not purchase this again.
