ZEN Stress Relief Supplement

I apologize my review is a bit long but I feel it is important to explain how my situation was and the areas ZEN has helped improve. I have been taking anti anxiety meds for 8 months now because I had insomnia for two years and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Although the meds worked to calm me and i could sleep, I felt fatigued most of the time but i did not relate this to the medication at that time. I also went to see my doctor because I started not sleeping again some nights and at the same time would not cope very well with stress at work which is a lot! My doctor advised increasing the dose to double. This is when i started seeking alternatives as i did not want to be overdependent on these meds. I purchased this product first because it contained the B complex and then the positive reviews from people who had suffered from anxiety. When I received it i immediately stopped the medications i was taking for anxiety (I do not recommend this to anyone without doctors supervision, i took a personal risk) The first week i did not sleep very well, i would wake up in the middle of the night and not get sleep until early hours of the morning as my body was already used to the meds . I stuck with it for some reason and by the middle of the second week I was sleeping like a baby. After week 3 i noticed that i would fall asleep, stay asleep until morning. The other plus is that my fatigue is gone, I rise early and i find myself eager to make breakfast for my family and feel like i have more energy at work. Lastly the stress at work does not get me down like it use to. I am now ordering another two bottles so that i do not run out! Anxiety had become the center of my life but now i feel i have my life back and i would highly recommend ZEN. I hope my review can help someone, just like the other reviews helped me find this awesome product!

I have had horrible anxiety the past two years and it makes me feel annoyed easily and I lose my temper constantly. It has impacted my marriage and my relationship with my daughter too. I was reaching a point of going back on medication even though I didn't want to, due to the side-effects but couldn't get in to see my doctor for a few weeks so started researching alternatives to medication and found Zen. I read many reviews on the product and it sounded to good to be true, but I was so desperate, I bought it and received it the following day and started taking the 2 pills a day the same day I received the bottle. I will be honest and say, I figured it would do nothing and be a waste of money, but I was wrong! I noticed a difference within 24 hours. I felt so much more calm, 0 anxiety. I noticed I had control over my temper and I reacted more calmly to things I would usually blow up over. I still was very sceptical but found each day I felt the same way, more calm, no anxiety and no anger outburst at all. Even when I got annoyed at someone, which usually would send me to a rage level of anger, I found I was still very much in control and didn't hit those levels I usually did. I felt like a prisioner to my temper and had no control over it and for the first time, I feel it is efortless to control it. My daughter dropped a bottle of nail polish on the carpet the other day and it spilled everywhere. Normally I would have overreacted, yelling and carrying on and yet I stayed calm, told her it was okay and asked her to get me something to clean it up. She went to the kitchen to get what I asked her to get and I heard my 7 year old daughter say to my husband "Where is ___(the cleaning supply I asked for), I dropped nail polish on the carpet but mommy didn't yell at me at all, she was really nice." While that hurt my heart to hear, she is right, I would usually yell and freakout even over minor things. But this time I remained calm and it was effortless. I kept thinking, there is no way these natural non-medication pills are changing me so much, so I didn't take them for 1 day to see what would happen and noticed by the end of the day my anxiety had come back and so had my short-fuse temper. I took Zen again the following morning and within hours was back to a calm state. I am so happy to have found Zen and that it works for me and without the side effects medication would have given me. If you are like me and are on the fence about trying this product, try it, it could change your life like it has mine!

I have been struggling with some situational anxiety that has resulted in racing thoughts, loss of sleep, grinding teeth, muscle tension, tightness of chest, and headaches. Anxiety has been a struggle of mine for years, but the physical symptoms started getting bad last year after starting my internship as a therapist. (Ironic right?) After awhile, my symptoms got better on their own and stayed away for quite a while... Until 2 months ago. I started a new job, started wedding planning, moved across the state, and boom the symptoms were back with a vengeance. I tried every relaxation/coping skill in the book and nothing even phased it. It felt like an elephant was constantly sitting on my chest. At night my thoughts would race through my head. I couldn’t sleep. I started grinding my teeth... that got so bad my jaw constantly ached. My doctor confirmed my blood pressure was normal. Technically I was fine. I saw this stuff on amazon and ordered it because of the good reviews. I must admit I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong this product definitely has some perks, but I’m not so sure it’s the miracle product the reviews made it out to be. The Good: Better Sleep, helped with the teeth grinding slightly, helped with muscle tension some No effect on: Headaches, racing thoughts The Bad: Slow to take effect (when it says take at dinner it means it), not that powerful (I always had to take 2 to feel any effect, sometimes 3), short duration (since I was having to take 2 to feel effect, I would like to see effects last longer. With only 60 supply, that’s less than a month of ONLY night time use. It would be nice to either see increased potency or more quantity so that one could have the option of continuous use with one bottle.) The bottom line: I would recommend this as it did help with my anxiety symptoms some (I would say they were at an 8 an now they are at a 6); however, I think for the price point, it could be much better!

I took this a few years ago and thought I noticed a difference in my ability to focus, as well as keep me energized. I bought it a few times, but eventually ran out and forgot to reorder. I also kinda forgot about the product and how great I remember it being. Fast forward to me sorting my Amazon orders, etc…and I ran across this product again and figured I’d order again. Let me tell you, be it just me or what, I saw a huge difference the first day, I was focused, energized and calm. I’m a generally calm person by nature, but this I don’t know how to describe, it seems like I’m processing work, social functions, and stress even better, if that makes sense. I feel nourished and like I’m doing something great for my body and overall future health.

I used to buy Shaklee Products: For my sleeplessness issue I used one of the following: 1)"Stress Relief Complex," containing a blend of L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Beta-Sitosterol, L-Tyrosine" to help occasional sleeplessness;" 2) Dream Serene," containing Melatonin, a blend of Valerian, Lemon Balm and L-Theanine. All Shaklee products are excellent. However, their products are pricey. My preference was "Dream Serene" which helped me fall alseep on occasional sleepless nights within an hour after taking one of the above. Last week, I ran out of Shaklee Dream Serene. I searched via Amazon and found "ZEN Supplement Facts," which contains Ashwagandha Root Extract, Lemon Balm Aerial Parts 10.1 Extract, Passionflower, Bacopa extract, Rhodiola root extract, L-Theanine, Hawthorn Leaf, Hops Flower Extract, Black Pepper fruit Extract, among others. I compared Zen's ingredients with Shaklee's products and bought it @ inexpensive price. Last night, I was awaken until midnight. I took 1 capsule of ZEN product for the first time, but it took about 2 hours to fall asleep. Then I woke up around 4 a.m. It may be too early to assess its effectiveness.

I have horrible anxiety & this has help me naturally! I love how it even helps with my productivity and social situations.I absolutely love ZEN. It works & would recommend to others for calming relief & relaxation.

While I know others have had great experiences with Zen, mine was horrific. I don’t want to give full blame to the pill because it was more about my body’s reaction to it. I have only ever been allergic to Penicillin in my life. I’ve never had random reactions to anything, especially not something that is all natural like Zen. But the day after I started taking it, I started losing my taste buds in the front of my tongue. At first I thought maybe I had burned my tongue on some food but just didn’t remember. The next day I woke up with cuts and ulcers all over my tongue, and my lips were so dry they started to crack everywhere. It was all extremely painful. The next day I suffered through the pain and was barely able to taste anything, but by dinner time the ulcers had started moving down my throat and I was unable to eat because of the pain. I went straight to the doctor and discovered that the ONLY thing that has changed in my life in the last 4 days was taking this supplement. I immediately stopped taking it and have had to gargle a prescription mouthwash to help with the ulcers and swelling, and things have immediately started to get better. I know this company had no intention of anyone having this type of reaction, but it has caused me to be so miserable with pain. The hardest part is what I wrote in the beginning of this post. I’m a fairly healthy individual overall. I don't take any medications, I only have one medicinal allergy, and I usually react to otc items very well. This was just a shock of an event and has put me through hell in the meantime. I hope everyone else doesn’t have this reaction, but in case you quickly start to see the same symptoms I do, I want this post to help that person know to stop taking this supp as quickly as possible.

I've been taking this supplement since July 2017 (I believe), and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. I'm pretty big on natural remedies, but when it comes to mental health I was pretty skeptical anything would really help. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety over 15 years ago, but the last several years I have been doing great managing it on my own without meds. But, life happens, and the stress, depression, and anxiety were getting the better of me and I had reached a point where I knew it was time to start thinking about a Dr soon. To save the ridiculous cost of medical care and crappy insurance, I decided to try this supplement first. I chose this particular bottle because I've read that B vitamins and zinc are quite helpful in combination with adaptogen herbs. I found a lot of stress blends with adaptogen herbs, but this is the one bottle that also included the B vitamins and zinc for a good price. I'm 105lbs and sensitive to what I put in my body, so I take 1 capsule and it's all I need. Within a few days, the depression was gone and my anxiety had significantly decreased. My biggest surprise, however, was the dramatically high patience it gave me. I have a child with autism who was at the time having more bad days than good. At the first sign of distress from him, my body would immediately go into fight/flight which left me with little patience. These supplements enable me to get through his meltdowns, or any other high stress life throws at me. Which is great, because since I'm able to be patient, I'm able to think faster and more clearly when necessary. Since taking Zen, I can now get through just about anything with patience. I was very skeptical, but I am very impressed that I was able to see such a difference. I even started giving these to my 12 year old son for a while and it helped to give him more good days, than bad days. If you have high stress and are on the fence about these, I would definitely recommend giving them a try!
