Petflex No-Chew Cohesive Pet Bandages 5cm x Pack of 6

Have been using this type of bandage for years. Bought it from my vets. This is exactly the same brand but so much cheaper. I agree that the no chew claim is not entirely true but it does work better than normal cohesive bandages and it sticks better. Somebody commented that you can't reuse this bandage, well you are not supposed to reuse it. If you use this bandage as you are supposed to do, it is a great bandage. I did a first aid course for pets and this bandage was one of the first bandages you learn to use as it, properly used, makes sure that you don't cut off the blood flow. Very happy with purchase and great product.

Such a great practical product. It does not stick to fur, it sticks to itself and provides a strong and safe bandage. Much easier to wrap around than standard bandages. My dog chews the pad on the back of his heel and this stops him and allows the cut to heal. We put a piece of lint over the cut and then this bandage. He usually licks everything in site but he doesn't lick this and that is a major bonus. Really pleased with it.

Easy to use, tacky so it stuck well but didn’t stop him from chewing - however I think he would have chewed through a concrete bandage if given the chance. Good value for money

Well, is a cohesive bandage, easy to work with, stays on nicely until I release the dog. Then she chews it off. With gusto. Both dogs are stealing the used bandages (and we have a lot of it because I have to redo it before every walk) out of the bin and mince it to shreds. They love the taste. I tried the collar, but my lurcher has telescopic limbs and bones made of rubber, she managed to chew the bandage off. I tried the muzzle but she pushes her paw through and pulls it off. Then chews it to shreds.

I used the bandages on a rescue dog to keep his injuries clean and safe. They worked very well although being a puppy he did start to enjoy the flavour and would lick them occasionally.

This stoped my Terrier from licking his wound until it was fully healed. As the bandage sticks to itself and not to his skin there was no need for additional tape. Amazing product.

This product is a cohesive bandage for sure but what came through the post is nothing like what was purchased. Why is the bandage full of glitter? Which has now proceeded to end up everywhere (including the dogs mouth!) Unsatisfied with the product is an understatement. With so many options available we fully regret purchasing here

Purtroppo ho da fare una recensione negativa sul prodotto. Almeno , sul mio labrador non ha funzionato..si è continuata a leccare la ferita come se niente fosse.. ho dovuto mettergli mio malgrado, nuovamente il collare elisabettiano..

Ganz ganz praktisch - endlich kein endloses Getümmel mehr mit Mullbinden und Klebepflastern, die entweder nicht halten oder sich nicht mehr lösen lassen. Das Material ist flexibel, dehnbar, und haftet tatsächlich ohne weitere Fixierung durch Übereinanderwickeln. Natürlich darf auch hier nicht zu stramm gewickelt werden , muss man aber auch nicht, weil das Material gut aneinander haftet.Man kann problemlos Mullbinde oder Kompressen mit Salbe unter der Petflex-Binde befestigen. Unser Hund strampelt grundsätzlich, wenn ein Verband angelegt werden soll, es muss also immer schnell gehen und in der Handhabung unkompliziert sein. Die Anti-Chew- Ausrüstung enthält Bitterstoffe, die das Knabbern verleiden sollen. Unser Hund knabbert trotzdem dran herum, kriegt den Verband aber zum Glück trotzdem nicht ab, weil er so gut gut hält. Auch bei Nässe hält das Material erstaunlich gut, sollte aber dann ersetzt werden.

Das Material ist sehr angenehm, hat eine gute Flexibilität, ist eher weich und nicht so steif wie vergleichbare Produkte. Es haftet sehr gut und löst sich, selbst bei großer Beanspruchung (Sprunggelenk) nicht ab. Leider liebt unser Hund den bitteren Geschmack... er leckt und schlabbert mit dem größten Vergnügen an den Bandagen herum. Wir haben es mit einem anderen Produkt getestet, das wurde ignoriert... 😂 Da das Material so überzeugend ist, verwenden wir aber auch weiterhin den Petflex Kauschutzverband. 👍🏻
