This is an adult only tool. It has no safety on it. As an adult I liked not having to press two twitches to turn it on. Powerful. Descales fast! Literally seconds to clean the scales off. If you rinse the blade immediately after use it cleans up effortlessly. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend this unit.

Scaling fish goes pretty fast with this scaler. Another good purchase at a good price.

The scaler works well and speeds up the time needed to complete multiple fish. However the blade is set to spinning anti-clockwise causing a real mess. No instructions on making it go clockwise

Used it immediately on a nice rainbow trout, what an awesome product! Had that fish scaled in nothing flat!

It is a nice scaler and works great

The scaler was excellent when fully charged ,not so good when the wears down . But I'll say hat its pretty good at scaling when using your own personal muscles

***** The initial problem involved a defective USB charger. ***** Additionally, the charge cable is damaged, with the cable popping out of the plastic housing. ****** This charge cable is not a generic one and cannot be easily acquired. ***** After replacing the charger with my own spare unit and making do with the damaged USB cable, the device is currently barely working.
