Hours of fun and creativity
These are great quality magnetic cubes. They are larger then all other magnetic blocks I have seen. They are fun bright colors, great for little kids. They are easy to build with and have good magnetic hold. The booklet shows many examples of things you can build, though more tiles are necessary. These are a great value and good starter set.

Great for a three year old to expand their imagination and creativity
I bought this Lego box for my three year old grand kid. It has 108 pieces of lego puzzles for her to imagine to build whatever she wants, and it came with 30 plus idea that she can follow, and unlimited ideas of building something she likes. She is already loving it, and having fun identifying the colors and number of pieces by counting them. We do want to make sure that she is not placing these pieces into her mouth.

Weak Magnetic Grip, But Still Fun
These are not like the thin magnetic tiles with the magnets around the edges and which will only align in one direction magnetically. It's a different idea, but it works pretty well, though you might find it odd at first. To start with, each block rattles. That's because the magnet(s) inside the block can move to different positions. This is how the creators of this toy figured out a way to make the blocks grip each other pretty much any way you turn them - and they grip whether they're aligned precisely square to each other, or in a position halfway-off (think stair-steps) of each other. This works out well and lets you build things that are not only perfectly aligned, although you can't just grip in any direction you want - they're not velcroed to each other, but they do offer those extra positions where there's still magnetic attraction between blocks. Once they're in place and gripping other blocks, there's no more rattling (the magnets have settled into where they're going to be) and at that point the object your child is building is fairly stationary anyway - because the magnetic grip isn't all that strong. That's the only downside I can find to these nicely-made blocks - besides the high price - is that the magnets don't hold to each other all that strongly. I don't think this is due to any cost-cutting. I'm fairly sure that the magnetic strength is calibrated so that the blocks can align so many different ways without being drawn to a different position. In other words, if they'd built these with powerful neodynium magnets, they'd lock together like they were superglued, but then only in a single orientation, and all you could ever build would be a long line of blocks. So the magnetic attraction needs to be not overly strong. But they're still fun, and they do still hold together well enough to do most things with them. Our toddler builds "ships" with them and those hold together plenty well enough for him to push them along on the carpet as if they're big, long Great Lakes Freighters filled with iron ore cargo - and the blocks keep their shapes as he slides them. So your kids can build more than just stationary objects with these, and that's not something you can say about the thin magnet-tiles which tend to collapse. The build quality is phenomenal and that's probably the reason for the high price. There are no rough edges or molding errors or discolorations or burrs or any errors at all on these blocks. The shape of every one is true and square and straight and smooth and utterly, stunningly perfect. They're a GORGEOUS product. The whole concept seems new to me, and it might improve over time, but these are pretty good right now. Toddler LOVES them and I definitely RECOMMEND THEM if the high quality is affordable to you.

Really fun stem toy
The first grandchild to play with these magnetic blocks was our 4 yr old grandson. He came to visit while his brothers were at school. The blocks were an immediate hit with him. I played with them as well, and they are a hit with me also. Picasso is a good brand, and they've made a nice set of magnetic blocks here. The blocks' gentle magnetism, their texture, their colors, the slight rattle they make altogether make these so appealing to play with. My grandson wanted to build the spider on the instruction page. Notice in the picture, the instructions show the amount of each colored block needed for the project. We counted out the blocks of each color needed, which was good math practice for him. He learned how to follow the picture instruction to make the spider. (I built the spider; he helped.) He returned to these blocks all throughout the day. Today, he's back for another visit. We have his favorite toys within his reach. The first thing he went for was these blocks. His older brothers came after school, ages 7 and 10. They took right to the blocks, especially the 10 yr old. The 10 yr old played with them throughout the night, and tonight as he was heading to bed, he asked me which box the blocks were in, for I had put them away. He plans to get them out first thing in the morning. He's a sharp boy, likes to build and create. There is just something about these blocks! They'd be a great addition to your arsenal of stem toys:)

Fun. Versatile. Creative.
These blocks are nicely made. The material is smooth. The corners are soft and they all fit nicely in the box. Tactily these blocks are great. They have bright colors. The magnets on the inside make a little clicking noise as they move around and get close to each other. They are fun to just have a few in your hand and make small shapes and color patterns. The blocks are durable, as they have now survived multiple play sessions and have been dropped from counters and stepped on. The magnets work OK, but I would categorize them as "weak". This really impacts what you can build with them, as some of the pictures in the suggestion book are almost impossible to get to stand up as they are pictured. We have failed multiple times to get the unicorn from the book to balance and stand. I'm sure there are some different techniques you can use to get them to stick/stack, but we haven't figured those out yet. For now, we are sticking with houses and castles, which are GREAT FUN to build with these. The set comes with plenty of pieces to build many different items. We are very happy with these magnetic building blocks.

My 3 year old got these but my 6 & 9 year old all try and get involved. I think the fact that you get 108 pieces is worth the money compared to the other brands out there. The magnets are very good.

I love these. They are so easy to use and the perfect size so I don’t have to worry about my baby choking on them. Definitely need to order more so we can build more. My kids love the magnetic tiles so these are a fun addition to their building
