These guards are transparent, so it is easy to find the knife you want. The knife slips easily into the guard and does not require strenuous effort to pull the knife out. The colors also help to locate the desired knife. Love these and bought a second set, after sending back a different set that I did not like at all.

This was my second time buying these. I've looked at other knife covers and just don't like others as much. We appreciate the versatility of these, and they're well made and last forever. We bought more because we have more knives, not because they wore out. The old ones are still going strong.

Bought this for a few knives I keep in a drawer but the draw they reside in is not deep enough to be kept in a knife holder that goes inside a drawer as it requires the knives to be stored vertically. So this was the next best thing in that I can protect the edge while they lay on their side in said drawer, which also stores other items as well. They come in various lengths for various knives and I use one for my butchers knife and a cheap Santaku knife and I think that's it. Works well I might add.

I'm no chef, and I couldn't tell you one type of knife from another for the most part. I mean I know a serrated bread knife from a fillet knife, but beyond that I get lost... A few years ago, my wife ended up with a set of freegbie "Eversharp" knives at a Sams Club giveaway, so she brought them home, and insisted I put them in the camping gear. I tried everything to protect my totes, and hands from them, until I found these, and the knife bag associated with them. I now have solid, sharp endge protected no bleeding storage for my knives. Yes we cook in camp, and I don't mean prep at home and toss things in a pot and heat them up in camp, I mean we cook, kitchen on the go. I HIGHLY recommend these for those gourmet campers, or RVers, especially the full time crowd as knifes tend to bounce around a LOT in drawers and such as you go down the road. Protect your gear, protect your rig, protect yourself and get these things! One caveat, durability on them is TBD, they seem like they are made of the same stuff the covers for my pampered chef BBQ grill set is made from, and that stuff has held up like new for the last 10 years no problem... But only time will tell for sure!

We place/lay our knives in a drawer. These guards help us when removing/replacing them in the drawer and when preparing food. They keep your fingers and hands safe!

These knife edge shields are strong and fit most of my knives. The plastic is rigid enough to offer protection without breaking or bending out of shape.They slip on without damaging the edges, and they hold on without slipping while in the drawer. They do a good job protecting our fingers while we search for the right knife. I chose the bright colors to make our favorite knives easy to find. The sizes fit most of my knives, but not all of them. If only they were about a quarter inch longer, they would offer a little more tip protection. Overall, I'm pleased with this set of knife edge guards. They fit well, the bright colors are easy to see, they don't slip off, and they are inexpensive.

These knife guards are not exactly what I thought they would be. The plastic is stiff and thin; feels very cheap. I supposed that's my fault for not reading enough about them before purchasing. Nevertheless, they do protect my knives and don't take up much space like a lot of other knife guards. The price was right. I do wonder though, with the way they slide into the guard, it seems they might dull the blade. Only time will tell on that...

I live in a small house with not much space. We’ve crammed knives in drawers. I recently got nicer knives I want to protect.

Really like these knife guards. Good quality and easy to slip on and off. Great to protect your knives and also your fingers.

These will last for years, and if your knifes sit loosely in a drawer, this will keep your hands safe!! They do NOT come off unless you deliberately pull them off. The different colors make it easy to pick out the knife you wish to use.
