Q: What antiseptic does Bepanthen contain?

Depends on which Bepanthen product you are referring to. We have been using the Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment. It's ingredients are Aqua, Lanolin, Paraffin Liquidum,Petrolatum, Panthenol, Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, Cera alba,Cetyl alcohol,Stearyl alcohol, Ozokerite, Glyceryl oleate, Lanolin alcophol andPeovitamin B5. It works very well for infant diaper rash. We have also used the Antiseptic Cream which among other things contains benzalkonium chloride ( 500 mcg/g) I would go to their web site and search further for your answers. Hope this helps. Is actually a very light easy to absorb cream, I use it on my hands a lot. They have the tendency to dry and crack, so I apply the cream on the cuts and keep going without a grease feeling on them. I also noticed that it heals the wounds pretty fast.

Best for kid skin

Best for kid skin trouble. We uses for burned from sun, redness, dryness(white), and for bruise.Not harmful ingredient and safe to use whole body.

EVERY HOUSEHOLD NEEDS THIS

The first-aid cream in our medicine cabinet expired 6 years ago, so it made sense to replace it. This brand is new-to-me. I like that it's free of petrolatum & added fragrance. I also likes that it's soothing, healing & it prevents infections.

Great first aid cream!

Bepanthen is a very good first aid cream. It works great in healing scratches and cuts. It is not sold in the US I don’t know why. A similar first aid cream, Panthoderm, used to be sold in the US, but is no longer available.I recommend Bepanthen You will not be disappointed.

helped so much!

I developed a mildly infected upper helix piercing and nothing was helping. I bought this cream and after putting it on for about 1 week, I finally saw improvement. The swelling on my ear went down and liquid stopped coming out from the hole. It takes a while to see results but it’s worth it! Will definitely be using it again.

Excellent product

We started using it when we lived in Europe. It works really well on any type of wounds, for kids or adults.Somehow it is not available in the US, but there are ways to get it here. So really happy with the product.
