Another WIN! Can't go wrong with DeWalt! This is a GREAT & super useful tool especially if you've got LOTS of fencing like I did. Super easy to use - takes no effort - happy I found it - clean neat finish that's secure. Don't hesitate if you can use a tool like this - good quality - will make things very easy uniform & neat - good price too - saves TONS of time

So, this is a great product. It loads the rings for you, easy to use, saves a lot of finger poke and pinches! BUT I purchased this to use on 1/2" hardware cloth. It worked in a couple spots but the hardware cloth had to be lined up just right. And that isn't easy to change once it's already wrapped and screwed down. The problem is that the head of the tool is way too wide to get in-between the squares. I ended up having to just use regular needle nose pliers to individually clamp all 500 or so spots that needed to be bound together. We are keeping it though as I believe it will be useful in the future with a larger type fencing.

I purchased this for auto upholstery use and it works really well for most things. WAY better than a cheap set that only uses one ring at a time. Because of the shape of the jaws, it's hard to access some areas, but it sure made the process a LOT easier!

DeWalt quality, what more can I say?

The pliers work well and make a job go much faster than single piece rings. Unlike single ring pliers, the nature of the auto feeder causes you to learn a new way to install the rings. As a result these may not be the best solution for some.The downside of the Dewalt package is that the 11/16" hog ring strips that are included are so poorly galvanized they rust badly in less than a season and will likely be gone by the end of year 2.I've got plenty of single piece 304 stainless hog rings. I just need to find a vendor that sells 11/16" chisel tip hog ring strips in 304 stainless.
