My grandson, who is 6 and blind, is enjoying this book very much. It has sounds of the animals and asks appropriate questions to makes him have to listen closely to the story being read in order to answer the questions. The buttons for true and false and next question are easy to use. The voice of person reading the story is very soothing and clear. I highly recommend this book and will be looking more like it.

This interactive book is fun but definietly not for young children. Although it says it;s for children ages 3- 8 my 5 year old grandaughter doesn't always have patience for the lengthy read-a-loud of the text. There are a lot of facts on each page. Younger children would need close adult supervision, unlike some of the other interactive books that are available. Also, the paw mechanism which activates the recorded reading of the text sometimes glitches and reads the "camel" page even though the book is open to the "bear" page. So we have to lift the paw again and place it on the page's encription bars again to start it over. The "X" and "O" buttons for the true and false questions make the book fun.

My kids really enjoy this book. It can read each page to them as they push the pawprint down and even has trivia about each of the animals in the book! It has lots of fun facts about each animal which is really fun for the kids. Technically speaking, the book works really well. The speaker was a little loud as there is only one volume setting. Two of my kids commented it was too loud. We fixed that with a piece of tape over the speaker and it was fine. Definitely worth it for the learning and fun!

I bought this for my 4 year old nephew. He took to it right away. Is it a true microscope? No, but it teaches observations skills, builds attention and focus, and entertains, so it builds the skills necessary to move up to a real microscope later on. The slides are incredible and the info shared is appropriate and helpful to young learners. With the pandemic closing schools, this is a nice educational giftie that keeps him on task and entertained even as he learns. That's a huge deal.

I don’t like the fact that all measurements are metric. I think a child in the US has a better grasp of how many INCHES long a giraffe’s tongue is rather than how many CENTIMETERS it is. I know there are more places in the world that use metric, but we aren’t there yet. The book seems to be well done. Didn’t finish checking it out after I found the metric measures.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. It didn't take him long to learn how to use the "controls" and he was very taken by the book - his favorite of the gifts we gave him. He loves books and animals and what could be better than a book about animals like this one? <g> Reviewing this before I know how well it holds up, but then he's not that super hard on toys and books so it should do fine.

I like everything about this book. Will be a great learning tool for my grandson. My grandson has gone to the zoo numerous times so he's familiar with how they look. Now he can learn the sounds associated with each animal. The reading palm is easy to use press the reading palm against the page and it will start reading with a playful melody voice. Quiz button is used to answer yes or no to questions. I highly recommend this book for any toddler. Very educational

Absolutely perfect book for my 3 year old son. Its so easy for him to use and filled with lots of information about all the animals in the book. The pictures are bright and vibrant and perfectly eye catching for children. A perfect book for a child to play and learn without adult support.

This is an amazing learning resource! The pictures are beautiful, detailed and keep the kids entertained. It only took my 3 year old a couple of seconds to figure out how it all worked and learning animal facts kept her entertained for a long time. The voice is pleasant and the wrong answer response isn't jarring. So glad we added this to our book collection!
