Very surprised how bright and crisp this trumpet sounds. Valves are very responsive. Slides work smoothly. I bought this for my daughter. I want to teach her trumpet. I'm teaching my grandsons trumpet. My daughter loves pink and agreed she would learn to play also if it came in pink. I wasn't expecting much from this horn, but I'm actually very impressed with how it plays. It's well slotted with decent intonation up and down the chromatic scale. I've been playing trumpet for over 40 years and was saddened to see a review stating a daughter's band teacher said this horn was a joke and unusable for the band. She never got a chance to use it. I have trumpets of all ranges valued between $100.00 to $10,000.00. Does this play and feel like a $10k trumpet? Not quite. But it's still pretty impressive in my opinion.

Sounds pretty good and functions as it should. Bought it for my 5th grader and so far so good. Would buy again.

This trumpet looks great and has a quality look and the keys work perfectly. My granddaughter is so proud of this instrument that she hardly put's it in the stand.

The internet says these are important for a beginner to ensure the instrument stays in good condition. Materials: I'm no expert on the quality of the brass and build. For our beginner, it didn’t have to be top-notch, but it has held up well to regular use so far... (fingers crossed). Playability: Most important is that she finds it comfortable and easy to play. She's happy with it, so that's a strong sign it's meeting her needs. The wife and I feel like we got a good deal, especially for a beginner. The value it offers for the price, its completeness as a starter kit, and how well it meets our daughter's needs. Again, I'm no expert, but it DOES seem to be making her enthusiastic about learning music. That's worth a lot, don't you think? Highly Recommended!
