Ron White: Behavioral Problems

Okay, so many of the reviewers talk about how his speech is slurred and he's raunchy - he's ALWAYS been raunchy. He cuts it back for the Blue Collar Comedy tour, because they are a less raunchy act, but whenever he's been on his own, he's always had a bit of foul-mouthedness to him, and I find it amusing. I'm not easily offended, and anyone who knows Ron White's work should know better than to expect anything else from him. But I don't think it was excessive for the jokes he was telling. Did he make a few mistakes? Sure - it's an hour 1/2 to two hours he does for a show, and he makes mistakes, but I find the mistakes hilarious, and I love the way he deals with them - peaches, salad and pizza... hilarious! Specific ocean? Ha! He can laugh at himself and it didn't ruin the joke and it shows he can do some improv when needed.I haven't decided whether the slurred and drunkeness is an act or not. Part of me says it is, part of me says it isn't, part of me says who cares? He's funny. He's deadpan at times, and his wholly sarcastic, and I love it. I appreciated his salute to the troops, and knowing he feels that way about those men and women who sacrifice also allows me to laugh uproariously at the political jokes and commentary he makes too.The only part that I wondered at was when he was talking about his sex life with his wife, and I thought, "I wonder what his wife thinks of that..." and then when he delivered the self-deprecating punchline, I nearly spit out laughter. I think that's what I like about Ron White: He's not afraid to make fun of anyone or anything, including himself.If you don't mind raunchy language and a little over the top blue humor, then Ron White still has it... he's coming to Houston this year and I'm hoping to get to see him in person! Maybe I'll help him pay for his next plane so it doesn't break down on him again!

I was introduced to Ron White through his “drunk in public” CD. I found this to be extremely humorous. I was disappointed with the two DVDs that I ordered. I think he makes gratuitous sexual jokes - not that I’m afraid or mind sexual jokes but I think they are not as humorous as his other subjects. In general I did not find the entire routine to be as humorous as the original one to which I listened (Drunk in Public)

When I wrote my first review of the product I put that I was not happy with the condition of the cover and was not able to use it as a gift as planned. That is all true but the moment Librairie de La Rue saw my product review they instantly sent me back my payment without ever having to contact them. They issued an apology to me and let me know that they were truly sorry and should have posted the condition of the case as well. I must say that I have NEVER had such great customer service from anyone on the internet. Kudos!! As far as the movie was concerned, I ended up keeping it instead of giving it as a gift to the person who had asked for it. I found another copy locally and paid a bit more for the gift. Thank you so much Librairie de La Rue.

We knew he was in blue collar tour but hadn't seen him. Got a wild hair and ordered one up on Prime. eh ... no.

Ron used to be one of my favorites, but I think he’s relying on his excellent delivery and just being crass.

What happened to the old Ron with really good stuff? "The anaconda in his pants, squirrel man, sweating scotch out of my pores riding the donkey up the hill", etc. Larry the cable guy he is not, and he always repeats versus from other shows which gets old. Way too many references to his wife which might be ok but she is not the one on stage. Cute dogs at the end I guess.

Yep it's Ron. I should have listened elsewhere first. I'm used to his Blue Collar Routine. This is a bit rough.

Best stand up he has in my opinion. I've watched a lot of them.

I rated the DVD at a three because I was quite disappointed in the DVD I have also loved Ron Whites humor but the humor was not that good not his normal things he talks about

Great quality dvd and very funny if you like that type of comedy

Really fun. Not recommended for younger children. Nice to hear some new material
