Two years earlier i had used earlier version of Amkette FM radio and recepitions used to be erratic and unsatisfactory. The present latest version which I now received is far far better and supirior in quality especially in signal recepition. A worthy product for the price.

This radio is a letdown. Brand new but the battery doesn’t hold any charge. Doesn’t even turn on after charging overnight. Not recommended. Don't buy this

Good Quality , value for money, Good Features, but no button to save the channels.

Pros: 1. Compact size. 2. Awesome build quality. 3. External antenna. 4. Digital display. 5. FM reception is good (But it also depends on your home location) 6. Awesome unboxing experience. It feels as if we unbox a brand new mobile phone on day-1. 7. It seems it comes with 1 year warranty. Cons: - It looks like speakers are tuned to simulate bass. But now a days it is common. If you buy any Bluetooth speaker between 1k-2k range, they all sound same. - Every time you turn it ON, it shows Bluetooth mode and then you have to manually change the mode to FM. If a person uses it to listen FM, then it should remember last selected mode. Sound Quality Vs Volume: - It has volume level range from 0-30. - 0-10: Awesome sound: If you use it while studying/work/night, it sounds perfect. - 10-20: Average: If you are sitting in a noisy room, you may use it. - 20-30: Not so good: You will rarely cross V20 level so no need to worry. Battery: - It seems it has 1500 mah battery. If you use it 2-3 hours day, then it will last for a week. I charged it once in last 1 week and it got charged in almost 1.5 hours. - Point to note: I used it with volume level below U10 most of the time. Battery performance may differ with volume level. Summary: You can definitely buy it. At this moment, it seems to be the only option available in the market that is so good in terms of build quality, external antenna. With this model, Amkette has made a good progress in FM radio segment. Well done.
