Very easy to use and hold hair securely. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they kept hair in place all day. Price is good too! I would definitely purchase again.

Effortless French twists, side swoops, updo secure. Metal. Very good quality, I like the variety, my favorite is the thinner scallop style comb for side sweeping my hair. So pretty! Going to use one to secure my hairdo for my friend’s upcoming wedding. (I was going to use a hair stick but it wasn’t the style for bridesmaids so I got these because it’s the same or more security as a good hair stick without sticking out so now the bride is happy and I am happy—I hate Bobby pins so I love these!)

These hair pins are very well made and sturdy. However, they just don't work for my hair. I can't say if due to weight of pin is too heavy or my hair type just too thin and slick! Either way, did not stay in place at all. Did not send back as I kept trying to make it work. Result: I now have short hair!

I have a ton of hair (and, of couse its ultra long), it's thick and wavy, almost curly so it's heavy and no amount of elastic bands of all styles and sizes will keep my hair up comfortably, none! Here I come across flat metal pins, they looked sturdy, and they are! They looked thin online, they are! And super flat with a slight curve, it helps with grip I assume, since it did with my updo. U can still wear your usual style and add one of these pins for extra support. My head was so tired of feeling the weight. I even started thinning in the bangs, this at the very least stops my hair from pulling all day long. I'm in love with the product. I should take pics next time.

I have long medium thick hairs and it just doesn't seem to work well with my hairs. I tried it for 2x and just doesn't wanna work. Pull on my hair and it feels heavy because obviously it's medal. My hair no like it. Probably work better for thick medium/short hair person.

I have purchased literally every possible type of hair clip, barrette, French barrette you name it I have bought it to try to pin back my medium density Caucasian hair as reasonably flat as possible with flexibility on the width I want easily (for wig prep/under wigs) & nothing has worked near as good as these simple designed strong flat little things! Great size for me & they stay put. I feel like I’ve won a little prize! I don’t know why these aren’t marketed or come up in pop up in searches for hair/wig wearing clips! So happy I found them after wasting so much money on all the other non flattening devises.

Unlike some others, these combs don't fall out or move during the day's activity and are smooth to insert without snagging hair.
