I bought this to replace an ancient floor jack of the same size. I am very impressed with the quality and lighter weight than the bulky standard of the past. The building materials make it just as heavy duty, strong and durable as the older jacks with smoother easier function. I also love the included carrying case. Great quality and value.

Great Little Jack With 2 Caveats
First, let me say that for the price, you will not find a better floor jack, but that comes with a couple of tradeoffs that I was not aware of and should have read the comments before purchasing. For me, there are 2 issues to be aware of before you order one. First, the jack handle is SHORT. I expected a handle a few feet in length, but this one is 16.5 inches. It requires quite a bit of force to lift, so it is not for everyone! Second, the release screw is turned by the end of the handle and lets the jack down FAST. There is no simple way to slowly and gently lower the jack while it is under pressure. It will just DROP the car to the ground. This is not terrible if you expect it, but if you need to lower something slowly (like a rim without a tire on it) then do not get this lift. If you can live with these two issues, then get this jack! It worked really well on our Tahoe for me to change out brakes and rotors! The jack itself is light weight and easy to move around. The casters roll easy and are solid. (Do not rely on a jack to keep your vehicle lifted! ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use jack stands! The Amazon Basics 3 ton stands are just as good as the Craftsman ones I have that cost 3x more.)

Not what I thought it would be
Im the siscription it fails to give accurate si,e and dimensions. So it is to small for what I need it for but I gave it to my f0r her car. It does not lift high enough to get jack stands up derneath her Impala so it just makes more work for me. And for those readonsi give it one star
