Another childhood throwback ticked!
So I grew up around Hi Tec and Silver Shadows. But back then I wouldn't have been seen dead in them; Air Max 90s (the original release) and Reebok pumps were the trainer of choice. Since hitting my 40s I'm buying all the things that remind me of my youth (Just bought a Teac Hifi recently lol). It seems that pale mono colour trainers are in fashion rn, but also you can't seem to buy a pair of trainers for less then £100 these days??! That and the nostalgia trip lead me to my purchase. So firstly, yes they are a little green suede compared to the original release. Not an issue but obvious if you Google the original release version. I wouldn't say it detracts from the good look at all. Secondly, they did come up a little tight, but 2x weeks of wear and they have loosened slightly. I recommend buying your normal size AND the size up and then returning one of the pairs. I am buy the size up soon. So I've tested these shoes on holiday for 2 weeks. They are comfortable, and extremely tough and well made. The materials are particularly robust and I'd say the shoes are 'stronger' than my usual Nikes or Addidas...etc... I've walked in them, used them on multiple gym workouts and some treadmill work and they look unused. They don't have the same bouncy feel as my asics runners, but as a general do anything trainers I can't fault them. I also feel slightly smug that they look cool and I'm not coming across as too try hard! For the money I'm impressed!

Best of the best.
Sturdy, reliable, comfortable & looks good. It's everything you want in a trainer. These are the probably the best of the best.

Nice Trainers
Had silver shadows back in the 80's and loved them, these don't look quite the same but still really nice and seem comfortable

The best trainers.
I have been using Silver Shadows for at least 35 years, and I can confidently say they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They last for years, and while they may not perform as well in wet conditions, they dry out quickly. The new colours are fantastic, too! Best of all, they're the only footwear I’ve ever worn that feels perfect straight out of the box—no breaking in required. I highly recommend them!

I have owned over the years had many pairs of these " silver shadow" trainers.Initially I wore them on many Marathon training and formal runs.Never a problem ,superbly comfortable. Now I wear them casually ,I walk about 5km daily and these shoes last about 2 years with this use.I personally cannot fault them for comfort and sizing.
