This is my first IPS monitor, and I initially thought the hype around IPS panels was overblown—but I was proven wrong. The black levels and lack of smearing are impressive, delivering a crisp, fluid gaming experience. Compared to my Samsung Odyssey G5 32" curved monitor, the Acer outshines it in color accuracy, vividness, and response time, even though the Samsung has a higher 2K resolution and a fast refresh rate. One downside I noticed is that AMD’s Virtual Super Resolution doesn’t work well with an HDMI cable, but switching to a DisplayPort cable resolved the issue. Overall, I’m so impressed by this monitor that I’m planning to sell my Samsung and save up for a 32-inch 2K model from Acer. This brand has won me over.

I bought 2 of these to replace old monitors in my set up. I have them in portrait orientation via VESA mount to articulating desk mount and use them primarily for reading documents, emails, and chat apps. I do not game on these and watch little video. The picture is bright and clear with default settings right out of the box. Text is clear in both regular and dark modes. No pixel problems, glare, bloom, nor blur I have seen in the ways I use them set at 120hz refresh. Noticeably less eye fatigue compared to the ancient monitors they replaced. Acer is 2 for 2 for me with this purchase. Absolutely worth the price. We'll see if they last a decade like my old Dells.

I used this monitor for both gaming and work. For about a year and a half it performed well, but then a major screen issue developed with vertical lines across the display. Even though Acer’s warranty still technically covers the repair, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs. With a monitor this large, by the time you factor in the box, bubble wrap, tape, and carrier fees, shipping alone can exceed $100, more than half of a new monitors price. This experience has shown me how poor Acer’s product support really is. Because of the failure and the lack of reasonable warranty coverage, I will never buy from Acer again.
