Matched my previous hardware but with greatly improved rollers & pivot points
8-2024: Installed a longer 6' version in another location & the install went 2X as fast 'cause I knew exactly where I wanted everything to line-up. This time I installed new oak panel doors & had to cut their bottoms to match a pre-existing door frame. I made my cuts exact & everything lined-up & works perfectly. 7-2024: The previous owners of our house chose only top-quality components, which is why we bought the house, so I wasn't surprised when this high-quality bi-fold door hardware arrived and the hinges were nearly exactly the same except for the color. Therefore I could use the same holes as before for the hinges, which was a timesaver. However, this new product has much improved top rollers and lower pivot points, which was the weakness of the previous design. Our house has Amish-built solid-oak doors throughout, so IMO the weight of or bi-fold doors, over a 20+ year period, wore-out the bearings on our previous rollers. The new rollers & pivot points are a much sturdier design, so I expect them to last a long time. Regarding installation, the instructions are vague but because it nearly matched the previous hardware, I could figure-out everything by taking pictures before I took-apart the old hardware. A key help is that you need to push-up the top pin all the way up into the wide hole, drop the bottom pin part-way in, slide the top pin inward to the smaller slot, let it drop down / settle into the smaller slot, and then push-in the plastic flange. The plastic flange pushes outward and appears to cover the top of the pin so that it cannot pop-out and move over to the large removal hole. Another help is that the top and bottom pivot point can be adjusted after installation which helps you to dial-in the best location / smooth action. Once done I placed some white grease on the top track & both sides roll smoothly & stay closed once shut. Very nice kit & highly recommended!

Works well , easy installation

Good
The materials are of good quality and it is easy to install. Only at the end of the assembly that the lower pin of one of the doors came loose. I just had to disassemble every door and hit a hammer with it in place, deforming the metal and making it never fall again.

The actual installation and design were well thought out. No surprises installing it.
I have 45 lb bifold closet doors, which ruin the light weight tracks sold at the box stores. So this came without damage, everything marked and accounted for in the carton. The instructions were clear and the installation illustrations were accurate enough to figure out exact orientations. The track was not damaged at all. The parts were well made and sturdy. Even supplied enough of the right screws and to say which size goes where. If it needs alignment there are adjustments on the pivot foot on the floor as well as in the track. There is only one small problem concerning the screws used to lock the pivots in the track. it is necessary to unscrew these screws from their bolts because the screw points won't go past the pan head screws holding the track up. Sometimes these screws fell out and I had to fiddle around trying to get them re-aligned with the nuts above the pivots. However once installed at the right place, these screws really do grab the top of the track to hold the pivots in place. All in all an excellent product. Installing heavy bifold doors requires some skill and common sense. so keep that in mind.

ABORT! SAVE YOURSELF!
I would NOT recommend this product. Before buying, I triple checked the dimensions listed in the product description to make sure this would even have a chance of success. The dimensions the vendor gives are WRONG and will cause you innumerable headaches. In my situation, I was trying to replace a traditional closet track system with this system for some heavy solid wood doors. Because they're heavy and cover a utility closet with washer/dryer, the traditional hardware just can't hold up due to the weight and constant (ab)use. So i figured this beefier set of hardware would do the trick. I was wrong. The hardware itself is well constructed. The track is large aluminum extrusion and strong. The rollers glide smooth within it. They are are about twice as large as the heavy duty hardware track and holders I was using. The pivots are large and the pivot holders are gigantic. But that's the only good point I can grant this kit. The measurements for height are incorrect. It states you need to have 2.75 inches to accommodate the hardware and to factor that into your sizing. It's more like 3.25 inches. (I recommend using metric if you're going to punish yourself with this kit, as the tolerances for everything are esoteric like 7/64's or 31/32's). I mistakenly trimmed off .5 inch off of one of my doors, which did allow it to fit top to bottom, but came across other problems immediately afterwards that makes this just an intractable product. For one, you need to allow for at least 2.5 inches of travel on the outside of the doors as they swing open from the pivot points. This is about twice the clearance needed for a traditional set, and so things like trim and the gaps around your opening are all going to need to be recalculated and refashioned. This is because the pivots are relocated further into the door. Next, you will find that when your doors are opened to their max, you will have far less opening to work with. By about 3 inches on either side. So if you, like me, are trying to cram a washer and dryer within this space, you will find it difficult if not impossible to open the doors of these appliances now that your opening has shrunk 5-6 inches in width. This is something that cannot even be calculated with the dimensions in the description or the instructions (which are so comically vague, like others have pointed out, as to not just be useless, but almost mocking you to feel like what you're about to do is even remotely going to work). Essentially, if your doors had been opening to their max by compressing completely upon opening, they will now be about a quarter closed. The instructions not only fail to mention any of this, nor give you accurate dimensions to asses or calculate any of this prior to attempting an installation, but they also fail to mention the difficulty in hanging the doors on the top pivot holders. You have to swing the pivots about 30 degrees (towards your outer edge to hang them, and towards your center to remove them), making hanging the doors next to impossible with a typical 78" door height. That ends up being about 8 inches you have to angle the doors, and that is ridiculous. This was one reason why I had to cut my doors down. There was no way to fit the bottom pivot hardware in without tilting the door almost a foot to get it to hang. I would've taken pictures of all of this to illustrate it better, but I was too busy swearing and cursing the engineers of this product. Lastly, as if all of this wasn't enough of a Kafka-esque nightmare, as mentioned by others, the included fasteners are absolute garbage. The hardware itself seems robust and decent quality I assume. But the screws to attach anything are junk and strip out even with drilled pilot holes and the lightest torque applied. They might as well be made out of tin foil. I had to replace pretty much everything with zinc fasteners just to attach anything. Just charge an extra $1 and give us quality hardware fer cryinoutloud! In the end, I had to rip everything out and send it all back, after wasting an entire weekend wrestling with a project that should've taken no more than 2 hours if I was stopping at every step to swig a beer. Do yourself a favor and avoid this kit.

Good quality - solid
Very smooth, solid movement. I especially like how the weight is supported from the top. Now I want to convert all the closet doors in the house. I agree with some other reviewers - the instructions are a little confusing, but as the work progressed, it became clear enough. Well worth the effort to take some time with it.
