I wished that I had bought sooner
I bought this automatic watering system for while we were out of town. It was easy to step up and worked perfectly. We came home after 2 weeks and my plants were alive and looked so healthy. Well worth the money.

Stellar customer service. Not just Amazon, but the seller. World class.
Works great...until it doesn't. The water intake/output ports on the unit are VERY fragile. They snap off with the slightest sideways pressure. I have broken two units, so I'll NEVER buy another one. I managed to fix one with some epoxy glue, but I certainly shouldn't have to, especially after only 9 months. I'll try to fix the other one. You can't buy just the pump either. You have to buy the whole kit, so the spare tubing and emitters just go into a box or the trash. I would keep shopping for a better product if I was you. Update 8-6-2025: The seller, 1 by 1, is great. On a whim, I called the company and spoke with Norma, who was absolutely amazing, to inform them of the irrigation pumps weakness. Norma was so helpful and nice. Ultimately, 1 by 1 sent me 2 brand new replacements for the broken pumps. They sent the pump, tubing, emitters, the whole setup. I am now changing my review from two stars to 5. The product may have its limitations, but the folks who sell it on Amazon are world-class professionals. Look no further.

Good but not perfect
This was a saver when I took a trip. Works reasonably well. The package has plenty of connectors and hose length. The pump itself is small, but I found positioning it neatly next to plants difficult with all the hose attached. The settings are not as complicated as some other reviews, in fact, I find it quite intuitive. The biggest difficulty is with adjusting the water volume. You can set the total watering time (like 1 minutes every day) but depending on the hose length and number of outlets, the actual water volume changes.

Worthless when there's power outage on vacation: Your plants may die
When there is a power outage when you are away for an extended time, then the unit stops automatically watering, so you plants could die! The manual is somewhat deceptive, stating that during a power outage the settings will be saved. However, the next sentence states that the timer must be reset. It is accurate that you will not have to reprogram the settings. However, the settings absolutely depend upon the timer. The instructions FAILED to state that if you are away on vacation and there's a power outage, then your plants will not be watered automatically until you return and reset the timer. I purchased two of these units expressly to be used when I am away for an extended vacation. There was a power outage and the units stopped automatically watering. This product's timer must be reset after there is a power outage. There is no battery or internal backup. THIS A SIGNIFICANT DESIGN FLAW. Otherwise, these are great units!

Superb all around..
First thing that caught the eye was the manual dial for the different settings. Second and most important was that this baby sports 12V power--almost all the other (save Letpot) automatic watering systems are 5V, taking AA batteries or micro USB. The power cord is a generous 8ft w a velcro tie. Have been testing it out on the kitchen table. As will only be watering three pots during a 3-4 wk hiking trip, that's how many drinking glasses set up and ran watering stakes to. Placed the pitcher of water on a chair, the unit above it on the table with the glasses. The pump seems plenty powerful, the sound gives confidence, each stake put out a uniform 6oz a minute. Assume that would change if tried running all ten stakes that it claims it can push. Can it? Dunno, not doing a Youtube video here, but wouldn't be shocked. This item is very well thought out, super user-friendly and straight-forward design. The dial is as convenient as anticipated. The LED displays all info, including a very practical countdown clock to the next cycle, and cute little waterdrops when it's running. Has a manual mode. Has a child lock. Only apprehension going forward is the watering stakes, in lieu of drip emitters--will they clog eventually, whether due to the 50/50 perlite/vermiculite grow medium, roots, or both. Won't know until get back from catching fall colors in Pisgah NF. Have some Rainbird emitters laying around, but don't want to go that route, afraid may put stress on the motor. But these folks have faith in their equipment. Googled them with AI, they mainly make hot air guns n stuff like that, have a decent reputation. You're able to register it with them and get 90 days cash back/two year extended warranty on the watering system. Pretty cool.. Only thing will need to buy is opaque water line: they supply clear, which will allow algae to grow. This is a certainty if new to aqua-culture ;-)

Saved our plants
Very easy to use and setup. It does provide for more than 1 day separation between cycles if desired. I used it for a 10 second run every day while we were out on vacation for 11 days. I had a medium size Tupperware container with water in it. A couple days the outside temp was supposed to be in the 90's so I was worried that the inside house temp would get pretty hot those days since I still had our Air Conditioner on heat due to other days dropping below freezing (Midwest Spring). When we got home the container was bone dry so I was worried that the pump may have burned itself out, but after doing another test, it ran fine still. Our plants were in perfect health and the soil was still moist when we got back. So very happy with this and plan on using it for all future trips (just with a bigger water container).

So far it does what it's supposed to do. Great for vacations or if you are tired of watering. Pump is strong and delivers water as intended. Every dripper it came with is used. As you can see i have the pump low and it is strong enough to water all the way to the top.
