This is the favorite shampoo in our house. It hydrate without heaviness and is great for all hair types. I have mid length, straight, fine, but a lot of it, dirty blond hair (now going gray). I have been using this producr for years and now my whole family perfers it. (Teen boys and a balding husband) My only complaint is that it is hard to find sometimes. It leaves ur hair smooth
