Awesome brackets. Very sturdy and works perfect for my foldable work table in there garage

I used this to make a small, fold-down table/shelf on a wall. In summer, that area is used for a portable air conditioner. The shelf folds flat against the wall, and we roll the air conditioner into place. Super easy. After the air conditioner is put away in fall, The shelf snaps up, giving me space to fold laundry, to work on projects, to charge devices or whatever else you might need counter space for. I was able to choose the shelf material based on intended use, and budget. I chose something unfinished, and painted it to coordinate with the wall. Initially, I wanted the shelf to blend in when folded down, but I’m now repainting it to look like wall art. The brackets function smoothly, and it wasn’t hard to get them installed level and get the shelf finished. It is sturdy, and won’t fold down against the wall until I push the release mechanisms on both brackets. I wish I’d known about these years ago.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the simplicity of these brackets. I love that you can fold out of the way when not in use. I had to relocate a small fridge in my garage and these brackets were installed in about 15 minutes. Super strong and easy to install and use. I highly recommend.

I used these to add extensions to a rolling work bench. The extensions are pretty heavy, 2 layers of 3/4 " plywood 2'x2'.These hold the extensions solidly.The action to open and close them is nice and solid.Cons: make sure you have good screws, you will need good heavy duty screws to hold them uo.Like other reviewers I found the upper screws difficult to install.Instructions would be nice on how you should place the hinges to ensure good alignment. It was a bit of a guessing gameDespite the cons I would buy them again

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these brackets with a plan to make a folding outfeed table on my Dewalt DWE7491RS tablesaw. I welded some 1” tubing together to make mounting brackets and bolted everything right up to the saw frame using 4 u-bolts. The folding brackets are sturdy and easily retract with the outfeed table in place like it was a factory accessory. The brackets are stable, good quality, and a great value.

I got this for a folding miter saw table and they worked perfectly. Support all the weight I need, and they come with all the hardware for mounting. Easy to install, easy to use, as two levers release them and they fold down easily.

Just be sure the braces are aligned when you install them. They must be vertices and even.
