I work a lot from my bed, so wanted a stand to hold a manuscript. Also works to scan pictures using your iPhone, and to hold books. I’ve even put my phone on it and could put an iPad or Kindle if I had one. Very pleased with the quality, weight, removable clip , adjustable tilt and pedestal grip. This is a great clipboard if you’re needing something to keep you from copying a straight line and not jump from line to line. It is sturdy and holds papers and books as it should.

Perfect for being able to type from paper into laptop without neck bending down and hurting! And it works on books!
