This isn't just a book. it's a course!!
this book really encourages you to do the work of looking into your own mind and challenges you in ways that are integral to your development as a person, not just an artist. I find that it has a lot more to do with spiritual alignment instead just being a book that gives you scientific facts, data and quick hacks. You really have to do the work. This is a book that anyone can use.

A Brilliant and Life Changing Book! If you are willing to put the time in to do the work
This book has been a wonderful and deeply helpful book for helping me find my creativity. I did not think I was creative at all, and I'm finding it in small things that I do daily.Since starting to write the morning pages -which I resisted initially as being pointless and a wasted of time. But this journalling has unlocked some very powerful insights. Work though the book a week at a time. Just commit to doing the tasks. You don't have to do them all. But make sure you do the morning pages and the artists date. This is very powerful. And Fun!You have to get the paperback so that you can make notes in it and highlight sections. You will need to go back and re-read sections as this gives you new insights.

Growth experience
An old priest friend of mine many years ago said that with all my worrying thoughts in my head he advised just hang them up on lines so that you can see what they're really made of. Now. That was great advice but it was all still within my mind. With this book you are told really to write it all down each morning called morning pages. It is a great thing to do really for your own future and present and actually to heal the past in different ways. It picks things up and then you can present them to God for healing. I would say now in my third week I have not catch completely to the various steps above the morning pages. But I have kept on with the morning pages and they'd be really beneficial. So I will give this 10 out of 10 and the other tasks sat. I will do as well. It all looks really good

It saved my life 🙏
I must admit, I have never got past Chapter One! The initial two concepts of Morning Pages and Dates were so pivotal in lifting me out of a funk…I am now on volume 20 of MP! In 256 page notebooks! It saved my life

Might be for you.
The book assumes you’re some wounded bird—blocked, lost, and in need of spirituality to be saved. But that just wasn’t where I was when I picked it up. I was already creatively productive and living the artist’s life. I gave it a go because everyone raves about it, but it didn’t speak to me. I’m sure it’s helpful for a certain kind of person—just not for me.
