Fits the controller perfectly
I've been taking my arcade controller to friends' houses, and just throwing it in a backpack felt like a bad idea. This case offers some decent peace of mind. The controller fits into the moulded interior snugly, with no room to slide around, which is exactly what you want. There's a specific spot for the controller and a separate mesh pocket in the lid for the USB cable, keeping everything organised and preventing the plug from scratching the controller's surface. The outer shell is rigid and feels like it could withstand a few knocks and bumps in a full bag. The zip is sturdy and runs smoothly without catching. It makes transporting the controller much less worrying. The only minor point is the handle feels a bit basic, just a simple fabric loop, but it does the job for carrying it from the car to the house.

Great hard case for leverless controllers
A simple but well made hard case for leverless controllers. A hard zip-up clamshell design with a textured finish and a felt-feel covering on the inside, this feels like a decent piece of luggage that'll serve well to protect your controller. The green zip around the outside is well sewn and the bright outline it provides makes it a perfect pairing for an Xbox setup. The mesh panel on the top half is perfect for storing cables & converters whilst the strap on the bottom half is entirely hook & loop so you can strap in controllers of any thickness, as long as they fit within a 30.5 x 20 x 3cm (approx) form factor.

Perfect for 8 bit do arcade stick.
I have a xbox 8 bitdo arcade stick and this is perfect for it. The price could be a little lower due to only being able to get it in 1 set of design/colour. Also some sort of indication which side the arcade stick is in due to the strap does not hold the arcade stick firmly in place, when you open it the arcade stick slips out of its strap and placement. Strap could be tighter or foam in each corner to hold the arcade stick in place.

My Controller’s Travel Buddy
This case looks smart, feels tough, and fits my controller perfectly—no rattling around. The mesh pocket holds my USB cable, so everything’s in one place. I took it to a friend’s for gaming, and my controller stayed safe in my bag the whole way.

Useful case
I recently got a button based fight stick and while I like using it, it's not the easiest to store. So when this case became available for review I thought this would be perfect for storage and transporting my stick. The case is what I would describe as "firm" shelled. It's hard enough to protect anything behind but there is a little flex. The case has a green design and opens up via a zipper. Inside you have soft surfaces and a velcro strap to secure the stick. On the opposite side you have a mesh pocket for storing cables or other accessories.A good quality case that's perfect for storage. My only criticism is that you can smell some of adhesives used in the manufacturing process. However that has now faded.

Does the job, but a bit expensive...
Although nice, this case seems a lot of money for what it is.It's decent enough overall, but for the price it should be better.Protection-wise, it falls somewhere in the middle of being a soft and hard case. It's not totally rigid, with the strongest points being around all the folded edges, as would be expected. There is quite some flex to all 6 flat areas, and these panels can be pushed in quite easily. The 2 halves of the case are basically held together by the zip alone, as there is no lip along the closing edges to give the case some extra strength. In its' current form, I would be inclined to add some foam to offer more protection to the controller and accessories.Given the choice, I would prefer a soft, padded case to this one, which I believe would actually offer better protection. The case is nicely made and finished well, no doubt about it... but it needs some 'home help' to get it up to scratch, which lets face it at nearly £30 at time of review, you shouldn't have to do.3-Stars at current price (4-Stars if price settles around the £20 mark).

It will do the job in most situations
If you want to take your 8Bitdo Arcade Stick to a friend's house, then you'll really need something like this to help prevent damage. I'm sure this would do the job, since it is fairly rigid and would prevent scratching etc. On the other hand, I can't help but think that it could do with a bit more padding. For the price you're paying (about half the cost of the arcade stick itself), a bit of foam around the edges would just be a welcome bit of extra protection from bumps.
