I couldn’t hear anything and that’s a good thing
They block out noise so well that I could not hear law-enforcement coming up behind me. He tried them out for a few shots and was really impressed with the noise reduction. We like the lightweight and adjustability.

Work well, but very tight fit
This set of noise-cancelling earmuffs works well to reduce sound levels. I use them in my woodworking, and they reduce even the loudest of powertools to a very comfortable level. I have also used them for protection when firing guns, and they did a great job of reducing the sound level of a variety of guns, including a very loud 44-magnum, and a high-velocity AR-15 used to set off tannerite explosions. They are easy to use, and fold up into a relatively compact footprint for storage. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the design and fit is just barely adequate for my "average" head. They fit very tightly, and when worn for extended periods, I have to take them off to get a break from the pressure. The cups do fit very comfortably over my ears, but they just barely reach far enough down my head to fit over them. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these noise cancelling earmuffs, but the design could be tweaked a little to make them a bit more comfortable. I do recommend them, in spite of the design flaws.

Exaggerated Noise Reduction Quality
This is a misleading product description. The rating is in SNR to make their sound reduction look better than it actually is. Many other products provide the NRR (American Noise Reduction Rating) which is more accurate where the higher number is a lot better. This means that you think that if you buy a 34 db earmuff its the same as another 34 db earmuff but its not. It's inferior quality. Very disappointed with my purchase.

Blocks noise
These are wonderful. I like peace and quiet and especially when I’m doing my yardwork. This blocks out a lot of noise.
