The best of the packets
There is no real substitute for making this dish fresh, but you can't get the key ingredients in the UK. Lobo, which is made in Thailand, is definitely the best of the packets. I've tried several.

Delicious with a kick!
I have used this paste many times to produce a dish that is very genuine Thai taste. It is spicy therefore add more veg/meat and/or water to tone it down. If you like Thai food or want to try it, this a great start and easy to make. Fantastic value.

Actually Delicious
I had this dish while in Thailand and loved it. Upon my return to England I wanted to make it myself. This was the only product I could find to replicate what I had eaten in Thailand. It's close. It's not exactly what I had there but I didn't expect that of course. All dishes vary. However, it IS delicious. It is also quite spicy. I have a low tolerance to spice but this just tasted so good it's worth it for me. If you enjoy Thai food and spice this is a great option to make this dish in an easy way.
