Q: Does this make pebble ice or is that just part of their name ?

No pebble ice I’m very disappointed ice is very soft easy melt. Ice don’t last long before it becomes water inside the ice machine.

Q: how does it drain? is there an integral pump?

It is a gravity flow drain. It has no pump. It is a great ice maker and the ice last a long time. I was not sure if it work where I have it as it is over 100 degrees but it works fine. Make sure you connect the drain hose and run it in a drain or outside. I hope this helps you. Thanks. Ed Starkis

Q: How high of a temperature will it go to before any shut off?

My machine did not work on delivery and I was not reimbursed as promised for return shipping

Q: How do you turn off timer? I don’t want it to turn off ever!

Unfortunately, I have found no way to turn off the timer. I've even considered taking it in to see if an electrician can remove that function.
