Teapigs Popcorn Tea 15 Temples

I waited for this tea to go on a good sale because I thought it was somewhat pricey. Glad I tried it! It does have a small taste of popcorn if you are not eating food at the same time you drink this. Also a supporter of drinking green tea for health purposes. Good gift for that tea drinker that has everything already and is hard to buy for.

This is one of my favorite teas. The quality is always there as well as the unique flavor.

I didn't know what to expect regarding the flavor, but expected more of the nutty taste of popcorn. The taste was slight. Mostly colored water. Would not buy again.

This tea is one of my favourite green teas. I order it again and again. The malty rounded flavour gives you something extra than an ordinary green tea This works very well for me as I don’t on the whole like green tea, which I find bitter and ‘fishy’ tasting. The idea of toasted rice mixed in with the tea leaves may sound strange, but the rice seems to take away the bitter taste, making the tea really easy to drink I love this tea - refreshing and tasty. Large leaves with almost no dust. I drink this at any time of day. .I put a large pinch in a mug and I use the leaves twice. The second mug is as good as the first. It is best steeped in filtered water, as with all quality green teas, for the best flavour. Very good for late afternoon or evening drinking, it does not disappoint. This tea is divine & having it loose means I can control its strength..Im very pleased with the tea.

Makes a lovely cup of tea. I've tried quite a few Genmaicha teas and this one's the best so far. I just love the aroma of the toasted rice right before you take a sip. The tea temples are great & you get a decent portion of rice in each one. This is not an overpowering tea either so suits a tea rookie like me.

Quite odd flavour. I admit I didn't do too much research before buying but this doesn't taste like popcorn! Instead it has rice is in and tastes like toasted rice which is a bit weird for me.

Definitely tastes like popcorn but don’t leave teabag in for too long otherwise you’ll end with a burnt popcorn taste and rather bitter. Odd one but great for movie nights instead of hot chocolate.
