Oase Pondovac 5 dual pump
Got to finally get this product in mid summer. Easy Functions. Durable, Every thing it says and more for this product. I needed to clean my pond for a couple years. Regular shopvacs just didnt cut it. Best part you dont have to keep stopping and starting to empty the tank like a regular shop vac. Well worth the money and effort to use this wonderful product. I highly recommend to any that needs a dependable pond cleaner. I used it in my 7000 gal pond. The deepest part is 5 ft. and it vac with no hesitation. :)

EXTREMELY poor performance, paying the high price does not get you high performance.
Having just rebuilt our pond from 800 gallons to 9,000 gallons with a depth of 5 foot I decided I now needed a pond vacuum so I paid the $900 for this pond vac as I thought Aquascape was a great company and my pond contractor has used them for both my ponds. Unfortunately this is not their best product. ALL connections leak, whether they are under water or above water. You can see the bubbles of the leaks flowing up the pipe through the clear pipe when any connection is above water, so the more pipes you put together then the more leaks you get. In effect by the time you have all of them connected and the cleaning head at the bottom of the pond, it will literally suck NOTHING up from that depth, not even small leaves. Having taped all the pipe connections does improve, however not a lot at all, this is not an effective vacuum any deeper than 2 foot and even then will not suck up large leaves, just small leaves and debris. The clear pipe can not handle the weight of the other pipes with water in and has already got stress fractures that again allow air into the vacuum, I am not sure that even the main unit is sealed very well, it appears there are air leaks in that too. The one positive is a really good exhaust bag that works well at not letting even small particles back into the pond. Overall a really, really bad experience and one that I will regret for a long time. Does not feel like a quality product based upon the performance, If you buy one, just don't think it is going to clean anything deep or suck up any leaves that are larger than 2" diameter and for tht you probably only need one half the price or less..

Works like a champ!
I’m not sure why others are having issues with suction. It does lose suction power when not fully emerged in the water, but pretty sure this is a safety feature. I used it for nearly 3/4 of a day on my neglected pond. It was a champ! Attachment hoses are great quality too. And the cleanup was realistically painless. Only complaint I have is the instructions for assembly are not exactly clear, but figured it out. And the extension tubes do not lock into place. A release button would have been nice on them to give it more security for not coming loose. And the tool heads will most likely need to be replaced after a year or less depending on how often you will need to use it. Little disappointed with the quality of the tools but the unit itself is fabulous! All in all, still giving it 5 stars. My koi fish are very happy.

Best Water Vacuum! Save Your Pool Equipment!
When our inground fiberglass pool severely flooded with mud from the neighbors field, we didn't want to run the mud through our pool filter or vacuum it with our skimmer, and we couldnt drain it for fear of hydrostatic lift. It was thick. We shocked and used heavy flocculent daily and used this pond vac every day for 5 days to vacuum to waste the mud and then topped off the pool with fresh water. 5 days and you wouldn't believe the difference! Pool companies in Indiana wouldn't touch this job. Those that would said they would do it with a signed waiver for $3k. This was well worth the money.

This tool really works.
A very well thought out design. Every clip, zip, fitting and connection has obviously been field-tested and refined. I have used it a few times now on my 2500 gal pond (sorely neglected) and this pro-tool has smartly pumped a large amount of sludge out. Each time I use it, I am impressed by how well it goes together and comes part for cleaning. Being able to run continuously is a huge benefit. It moves quite a lot of water quite quickly so take that into consideration if you only have a small pond. It is not an inexpensive item but it does come with everything you need and it does work well. I hope it lasts.

Customer Service at its' best.
Where you buy something can make all the difference in the world. Pondliner markets the Oase V on Amazon. When I received the item I discovered a Return Authorization form in the box. Someone mistakenly sent me a used machine. I spoke with Bob in Customer Service and he immediately sent me a Return Authorization for Fedex. I told him I really needed to get my pond cleaned up as I could see mosquitoes were hatching out. He offered to overnight ship my pond vacuum. The next day I put it to work and was relieved that it performed so well. He also sent me chemicals to control mosquitoes and help clean the water. I appreciate that gesture. It's important to have confidence in the business you deal with. Pondliner knows its products and takes pond maintenance and their customers seriously.

I have large 4 foot deep pond in one area. when I put all the extensions on the suction is not as strong as I would have liked. The machine is heavy. When I move it around my pond I do have to disconnect the motor portion from the collection portion. Overall I am happy with this product.

very well put together, that clear pipe section is not a gimmick it really helps with directioning deep. The black "debris" bags are a well thought out feature.

Works very well and beats using a shop vac to clean my stream going into my pond without having to stop and empty the shop vac every few minutes.
