Excellent product. Solid built. After reading the reviews I was a bit dubious as there are a few negatives. I’ve almost used all the supplied plugs and not had a single issue. Yes it’s fiddly to line the cables up in order and put them in the plug but that’s the same no matter what crimper and plugs you buy. It’s a fiddly job. I feel all the negative reviews are human error and not this tool. Is easy and straightforward to use. Highly recommend. Blades are sharp and cuts perfect. Just got to make sure the plug is pushed right into the tool when you cut.

The tool is well made and performs all of its functions well. The plugs work well and the tester gives peace of mind on a long cable installation between a router and an outdoor wifi aerial. All round very good stuff at a very reasonable price.

The crimping tool itself seems well made and sturdy and does the job. However the 50 RJ45 connectors are cheap and do not click fit properly into any RJ45 socket. Also the cable tester is very cheap feeling and for me did not work. Lighting up on 4, 5 and 7 only on known working cables. Really not worth the money. Update: The seller reached out to me and refunded the item. Good customer service

Great for patching a load of Cat6 cable in the house, only used the tester and crimper not sure on the quality of the sleeves and jacks though

It took my son a couple of go’s to get it right. The first attempt took him ages to thread the wires into the plug, after a couple more attempts he found it very easy. I personally can’t use it because I’m colour blind and several of the colours look the same to me. I intend to get a continuity lead to check before crimping. A curse given to me by my mother!!! But in the hands of a good sighted person it is remarkably easy to use. In the past I’ve drilled large holes in the wall to get the RJ45 plug though but the latest job in wiring a POE CCTV system needed a more professional job. The cutters are sharp and the seal on the plug is strong. I’d recommend using this kit but be warned, practice on some scrap wire first. The tester is a must even for a non colour blind person as it is easy to make a mistake and this picks mis-wiring up.

This a great bit of kit. I bought this so I could put a new camera system into my house. I saved myself €1000. It’s easy to use. Instructions are very easy to understand. One thing I would say and it’s nothing to do with the tool, but be careful cutting the outer sleeve of the cat 6 cable when using the tool, if you spin it around the other cable to much you will nip the inner cable and they will snap off when straightening them out.

Arrived on time. Works well, most difficult bit is getting the twisted pairs straightened out and staying in the right order in the RJ45 connector. good bit is if you leave a long enough wire you can double check wire order before crimping. Whilst the Crimper does have a colour order on the handle, I had a seperate printed out copy as my eyesight isn't what it used to be.

Great quality, Fast delivery, pleased with a product

Works well for crimping ethernet, easy to learn to do and the tester makes it so much easier. The crimping tool feels solid and the stripper and cutter work as expected. Overall it’s a convenient tool for ethernet cables especially when needing to crimp a lot.
