I work outside in the south and am in desperate need of a light weight pair of pants. Would you recommend these for my purpose ?

Does this pant have a cell phone pocket?

All the people saying it won't hold a cell phone, that's nonsense! My phone measures 3-1/8 x 6-3/8 x 3/8" in the case and either of the two side pockets holds it easily. The angled cut of the top pocket holds the phone securely, as long as you're not hanging upside down. I work in trees and never had the slightest concern about dropping the phone.

Why aren't more pants made in the 36X29 size?

It also sucks that the waist size on these pants are smaller than what they say and the length is longer. I’d honestly need a 28 length in these when normally 30 is ok.

Will the side pocket fit an iPhone 8?
