This is not as flat as I expected. Also if you don't have a sharp pair of scissors or a knife, the ends can be a little rough and sharp.

Excellent rope

Amazing! I love playful jewelry, mostly crystals and stones, silver pieces, etc., and my rope's always break over time. No more an issue! You get a very large roll for countless necklaces or bracelets, you cut your own size. The color is true black as shown on the product page, I made a knot over a month ago and it's still just as tight and strong, there's no smell at all other than what might smell like a bit of leather - and it's so soft and lightweight, yet very strong. Just a great find, buy and use! I highly recommend it!
