Great Price, Strong Suction. I'm kind of short and the bathtub is kind of high. Sometimes my toes slip as I'm stepping out of the tub. I'm using this just to assist stepping down from the tub. I'm not using this to pull myself up..so, i'm not putting a lot of weight on it. Yes, it's very strong, but I wouldn't trust it to hold a person's entire body weight. For that, you'll want to install a bar into a stud. If you need something just to grasp and assist with balance, this is great! And for under $10 I can't find anything locally. Thank you, Amazon!

Other than the packaging suffering considerable S&H damage (plastic sack torn/ripped, the product box dented and box covering torn), this item's delivery was rather good (delivery instructions actually followed to the letter!) – the item itself, the shower/bath grab bar, was completely undamaged/unscathed! WHO KNEW?!? As to the item, installation of the bar was exceedingly simple/easy – just followed the instructions given on the outside of the product box. A carpenter's level assured bar's level installation on shower wall. The suction power of Kasrech bar approaches 'incredible.' Much/considerably better than the original bar purchased. The Kasrech bar comes close to pulling tile off the drywall subsurface. If this bar is grabbed, you won't fall as long as your grip doesn't fail. This bar's 'grip' *will not* fail if installed as instructed. In all, an excellent product that easily meets all advertisements/claims provided w/ it. Receives the much-sought "Old Curmudgeon's Three 👍👍👍 Award" for quality and suitability for purpose. A highly recommended product/item!

I like the feature that shows green if the suction is holding properly or red if it isn't - that gives me peace of mind that I know it is safe to use. Needed for someone with RA and can't always bend/lift legs high enough to step into and out of tub/shower. Feels really sturdy on the tiles and was incredibly simple and easy to install. Will probably purchase a second one.

I bought this and installed it about five weeks ago. It sealed tight and provides a solid bar however one of the latches that operates the suction cups just broke off and fell to the shower floor without being touched. Although the bar is still holding, in time it will need to be reattached and that’s now impossible. It’s obviously a quality control issue, too bad as it seemed great but unfortunately I can’t recommend this product.

So far I can't get this to sick to any surface, glass, tile, the fridge, wood, nothing it sicks to nothing at all, not for me anyway. I gave it two stars just because it appears to be well made, other than that it's useless
